First time here and can't wait to go back! We had reservations and quickly seated. They have a time limit of 90 min which is fair and gives fast service. Menu is short and sweet. Filet mignon is so tasty, the ribeye recommended by our waiter was superb! Steak dinners are about $60-$65 and very filling. They have cocktail menus and also mocktails. Parking garage across the street but we got dropped off by Lyft. Street parking available but a couple of blocks over. Walking distance from Campus Martius! We are definitely going to come back when we don't have our own time crunch and hubby doesn't have any sports games. The staff was also soooo lovely! There is also no set dress code but everyone...
We celebrated our 33rd anniversary at Besa Detroit last night, and it we had a wonderful meal. Our waiter, Daniel, was knowledgeable and personable, and service was prompt and professional. For appetizers, we had the calamari and open-faced spinach pie, which were both superb. We got the filet and lamb chops for our entrees, and both were cooked perfectly, and presented beautifully. The hazelnut frappe dessert was decadent and delicious. As Daniel described it, it was like a Ferrero Rochet ice cream sandwich (only better)! Props to the manager, who was an active presence throughout the restaurant, keeping things running like a well-oiled clock. We highly recommend!
We absolutely loved our first dinner at BESA! Honestly, for us the star of the show was the fresh focaccia. SO pillowy and crispy and perfectly salted. Pulled lamb shoulder, sea scallops, grilled artichoke and BESA fries… all clean plates. We will be returning with friends!! Thank you!
BESA has unique offerings but the highlight was the arugula salad. Wait staff was not as attentive as other restaurants of this caliber in Detroit and music was very loud.

Dinner was delicious! We didn’t have a reservation and they still accommodated us during peak dinner time. The food was fantastic and the dessert is to die for!
Service with fantastic! Food was amazing as usual. The special for the evening was pretty close to be the best steak I’ve ever had. It was just fantastic.
Our reservations were planned for 4, knowing it would be empty before it started we finished our dinner date. Perfect timing. We loved it,
The food was a bit pricey, the drinks were just average, but the service was excellent. Overall rating: 7 out of 10.
