It's hard for me to know how to rate this experience because based on other reviews I believe this diner could have been a totally different experience on another day. We spent an hour and a half here for lunch, and only had food for the last 15 minutes of that time. They were extremely short staffed and only had one waitress with a lot of customers so I know she was doing her best and she did well at managing everything. I believe there was only one cook and one person to clear tables so I can't blame them for the slow service and I'm thankful we had lots of time to relax and enjoy the experience anyway. I had a quiet dinner at this charming little spot, which offered a lovely atmosphere and courteous staff. The food was delicious—my pancakes were fluffy and delightful, while the bacon was fresh, chewy, and had a nice crunch. My partner enjoyed their eggs and home fries, which were also fresh and flavorful. We both appreciated the meal and the ambiance. It's rare to find a hidden gem like this in the area, with such high standards of service and quality. I highly recommend it!
Betty Boop's is a hoot! I think it was Betty herself who waited on us, and even cooked our breakfast this morning! This place has the vibe of a small town diner, while being tucked in the middle of Albany's South End urban neighborhood. Food is basic diner fare but house made with love. Ambiance is pure kitsch red black and white with Betty Boop memorabilia everywhere. Please support this place, it's the real deal!
A small and adorable diner near downtown Albany. The Betty Boop theme includes T shirts and other items for sale. The Eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly. The Hollandaise was good. Prices are below average. A nice experience.

Betty is served with the usual morning restaurant service, which is quick and reasonably priced. The bacon, home fries, and eggs were all cooked to perfection. The staff there was extremely friendly and accommodating.

This is a really laid-back spot. The food is delicious and the prices are fantastic! It's a genuine diner and a great discovery in the Mansion area. Plus, the staff is very friendly and welcoming!
