I recently held my 30th Birthday party at Bibo Wine bar and it was absolutely phenomenal. It is not often you find all of these things in one place. Bibo is intimate and special. When planning an event, the customer service begins at the enquiry Emma who runs the events was there to inform and answer any questions I had from the start. <br/ <br/ We hosted a private dinner for 29 people in the courtyard. After having dinner elsewhere we came to this wine bar for some drinks with my in laws and whilst it was cold we sat out at the back with the heater. It has a nice ambience out the back, much quieter and they closed the roof for us as well.<br/ <br/ The service from the staff who looked after us was super friendly and charming. <br/ <br/ We all had a glass of wine each and I finally got to try orange wine but since it was my first time trying it, I wasn't sure if that was a good one.<br/ <br/ My SIL had their Portuguese tart with cinnamon ice cream (ice cream tasted awesome) and we shared two cheeses. Great sharing-styled menu available for all sorts of cravings! Drinks menu was quite extensive, ordered a classic aperol spritz and an “aged negroni” which unfortunately was missing the “aged” taste. Layout of the wine bar was very intimate as it was a small area but sitting at the bar felt great too! Staff were really lovely, friendly didn’t rush us to finish our food despite staying there till late.. definitely would return for a relaxed night out!!
Beautiful spot for a night out for two. Great food and wine! The set menu is a safe bet, with the kingfish sashimi and the flaming chorizo both highlights. The wait staff are very hands off, which is refreshing it’s nice to be left alone sometimes. The food comes quickly and you can see it being prepared through the kitchen window. Highly recommended for date night :

Bibo Wine Bar’s food is designed to share and we did just that when we popped in after some shopping at Double Bay the other day. The food is Mediterranean with a Portuguese twist (Chef Jose Silva has a Portuguese background) and just exquisite. It’s an utterly charming wine bar with impeccable service. We will definitely be back! #bibo #bibowinebar
The space is nice and welcoming. When we booked there was no mention that the table had to be handed back an hour later, which was frustrating as we ordered a lot of food and drinks. <br/ <br/ It took a long time to get served and the waiter was less than attentive <br/ <br/ The vegan menu is great with lots of choice.
Best wine bar I have ever been in Sydney. Wines and digestives from all over around the world are listed in their menu. Food was also great. I had cod croquette and king prawn which was delicious. Staff were friendly and kind. Definately will come back.
