The Dining Rooms had very opulent and attractive decor saying this was a special place to dine.Food was OK if not fine dining. The steak had little flavour whilst my creme brulee was cold topped and insipid in taste. Not inspiring but by the look of other restaurants in the town suggested it may be better than most. It did not match the image of the decor in which it was served. Pity. Perhaps we were unlucky that evening.The wine list was again not very interesting, had no information on year, and the waitress obviously knew nothing about the wine. We settled for a Beaujolais as a no risk choice. OK.Service was extremely slow which may have been because we were in the outside Terrace but this should not be used as a reason..Altogether the food was a disappointment to what we were expecting with the level of Decor.We stayed at the hotel which was excellent 5 star rating.Breakfast which we had in a separate room to the main dining rooms was very good.

This restaurant was recommended by a local. It's located off the main square on Rue du College. All the other diners were French speaking which was a good sign for us. We did try to speak French and the waitress immediately asked us if we wanted the English menu. We decided to try out the 3 course menu for 35 Euro. For starters we had scallops (St Jacques style) - my favourite course. For the main course my husband had duck cooked the English way and I had lamb with haricot beans; for dessert I opted for the trio dessert (chocolate mousse, crème brulee, fruit

We had a lovely evening! Our server was charming and kind, welcoming. The food was great - a good menu with lots of choice and a great selection of local wines and best of all, being close to the border of Belgium, a great choice of artisinal beers. Lovely atmosphere and a real find.

The atmosphere is magical and the Typical food is truly tasty and well presented. You can choose between many recipes of the region.I ate here a few times during business travel and I really enjoyed the restaurant, that is the reason why I finally decided to book also a room here!

Situation very central to town. Accommodation very good and staff very pleasant, Only downside was poor WIFI.
