The Dining Rooms had very opulent and attractive decor saying this was a special place to dine.Food was OK if not fine dining. The steak had little flavour whilst my creme brulee was cold topped and insipid in taste. Not inspiring but by the look of other restaurants in the town suggested it may be better than most. It did not match the image of the decor in which it was served. Pity. Perhaps we were unlucky that evening.The wine list was again not very interesting, had no information on year, and the waitress obviously knew nothing about the wine. This restaurant was recommended by a local. It's located off the main square on Rue du College. All the other diners were French speaking which was a good sign for us. We did try to speak French and the waitress immediately asked us if we wanted the English menu. We decided to try out the 3 course menu for 35 Euro. For starters we had scallops (St Jacques style) - my favourite course. We were at "Bienvenue chez nous" with a group of colleagues. In a nutshell this is a great place, good food, good service, nicely decorated in a red old bric wall setting, large old mirrors, cosy. The meals are well served, excellent ingrédients, and tastful préparations. The french fries are hand and home made, and it makes all the difference. Friendly staff and owners top of this prime location. And very reasonably priced for all you get.
We had a lovely evening! Our server was charming and kind, welcoming. The food was great - a good menu with lots of choice and a great selection of local wines and best of all, being close to the border of Belgium, a great choice of artisinal beers. Lovely atmosphere and a real find.

The atmosphere is magical and the Typical food is truly tasty and well presented. You can choose between many recipes of the region.I ate here a few times during business travel and I really enjoyed the restaurant, that is the reason why I finally decided to book also a room here!
The food was very good and very well presented , very good value for money. The owner pointed to our table and said yours is the small one in the corner, not the best customer service! The waiting staff were very sweet and attentive.
Fixed price menus as well as a la carte with great choices. Reasonably priced as is the wine. Lovely ambience. Great staff. Food was great, can't wait for our next visit.
This was one of the highlights of our trip to France. Great steak, great wine, great value. Limited English, bring your phrasebook and enjoy. Kids and dogs welcome.

Situation very central to town. Accommodation very good and staff very pleasant, Only downside was poor WIFI.
