Big Daddy's Rock & Roll Emporium

I was really hoping this pub would be a great spot for us. We love live music and great food. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The manager I spoke to during the day was very friendly and informative. When we got to pub is was almost empty at 9pm. The band was just warming up so we sat and had a pint. The beer was great and was served quickly. The service was prompt but that was about it. She seemed to busy to do anything else than take our order and dash off. I like to ask the server for recommendations on the menu as they usually know best. I had to catch her as she dashed by. She told us the specials (fish and chips) and recommended the burgers. We decided to have an appy of chicken wings before placing our dinner order. While we waited the band started and a few more people trickled in to watch the band. It was very clear that the few people were family and friends of the band. This band was not good in my opinion. They seemed to butcher every song they played. Our wings arrived and after the first bite we knew they were not great. They would have been fine had they used a different fryer than the one they were cooking the fish in. Mmmmmm fishy chicken wings. By the time our server did a quality check we were more than half done so decided not to say anything. We decided to get our bill and move on to have dinner else where. This place might be ok for others looking for cheap eats. We don't get to go out very often so I will pass next time and pay more for better quality.

I've been going here for a few years now.Food is good home style fare that's not fancy but good value and prepared with pride.Service can be a bit slow depending on who's on and how busy it is, but it's improving and becoming more consistent.The place was starting to look a bit tired, but they are slowly and carefully redecorating and moving things around to better serve their clientele.

Depends on the time of the day I guess.I have been here during the day for lunch which was pretty good about adverage for pub fare. Going after work for a drink or after dinner the place can get a bit rowdy.Not for me, rougher clientelle

I have eaten their several times now, and I have always found the food very tasty, you get good size portions, and very reasonably price. The service is great also, wonderful staff and owner.

Went for dinner. Worst wings and even worst service. Used to be best wings in town! It went downhill fast. I won't be going again.
