It's a self-service establishment; you seat yourself, throw away your trash, and place your basket on a shelf above the trash can. I ordered the medium plate, which included two types of meat, cole slaw, and baked beans. The beans had a decent flavor, and the cole slaw was fresh and crisp. The sausage was a Polish kielbasa variety, which was juicy and flavorful. However, the brisket, while sliced, lacked flavor and didn’t have the deep smoky taste I was hoping for. It was a bit dry, so I had to add BBQ sauce to enhance it. They did have a condiment bar with pickles and onions, as well as a variety of BBQ sauces to choose from. In town for a few days, wanted some good BBQ. I went to Big Jake's and was not disappointed. The BBQ was great and so we're the side dish's. The next time I'm in town I got to stop by Big Jake's BBQ. I had a fantastic lunch experience at this restaurant! The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5. The service was equally remarkable, also deserving of a 5. The atmosphere was inviting and enjoyable, making it a delightful place to dine. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for a wonderful lunch outing!
