As a Montrealer, I've got to say that Big Roddy's poutine is the real deal. Rich, flavorful gravy that saturated the fries just enough to soak them in, topped with none other than gooey, authentic melted cheese curds: a little taste of home in the land down under. My partner and I had the smokey barbecue beef ribwich to go along with it, which was equally as delicious. We'll definitely be back, but next time for some ribs, jala-mac-peño poppers and, of course, more poutine. 11/10, would highly recommend.
We've been in Brisbane for a few months now, and Roddy's is the only place we've come back to repeatedly. The ribs are great value, the meat is delicious and falls off the bone (beef short rib- yum! and the green beans are so tasty, and always comes out very fast. We like seeing Roddy behind the counter serving people and cleaning tables as it really makes it feel like he cares about his business and he is a very nice guy.
Had the half rack of ribs and the single rib all amazing, single rib lituarlally fell off the bone. Sauces were a great extra, try the blue cheese sauce with the buffalo wings. We are not spicy lovers so we did everything in the BBQ or sweet flavours on the ribs. Corn with garlic butter oh my god. Must try if in Brisbane. Thanks to scoupon we found out about this place!
Amazing! We discovered this place purely by looking at google maps for somewhere new to go and what was around.. it was such a cool experience! Cutest little diner style, awesome bibs and epic food! We had the buffalo wings, beef ribs, chips and coleslaw and it was all amazing! Staff were super friendly.. we live close by.. what a find! We will be back.

Amazing food. Super friendly staff. Huge servings. You can smell the place before you even get there. Icing on the cake as we were leaving we found puppy parking out front with a water dish it’s a nice little touch that you don’t see anywhere anymore. Well worth the hour and a half drive
Had a full rack of original pork ribs. 100% awesome. Tasty juicy and falling from the bone. Washed down with a tasty craft beer off the tap. All very reasonably priced. Was pretty much perfect actually. Looking around at other patrons burgers and chicken I need to go back for some more.
Ribs, I had the beef with sweet bbq, falling off the bone with delicious flavours. Buffalo wings were perfect, jalapeño poppers with Mac n cheese inside we’re amazing, pouting and all other side were just as flavourful. Cannot wait to come back, highly recommend.
It was a long time coming but the boys at four finger discount sent me your way and i sure wasn't disappointed, quality food and the ribs just fell off the bone and melted in the mouth. absolutely perfect!!

Great place and always busy. Love the food, good service and staff. Limited seating but you can always have a drink while you wait for the best ribs in town. Long may it continue.
Amazing food and service, definetly some of the best ribs Ive ever had! Well worth the trip up from the gold coast for the food!
