A very pleasant surprise.After several days of eating the local cuisine, we decided to diversify and try this place, which claims to offer American-Mexican food.Great choice!!Two pluses before getting to the food:First - best and friendliest service we've gotten in Chamonix to date. We found this bistro via a recommendation from our transportation company and what a great place. It is the only restaurant in Chamonix to serve really good beer. We found 5 craft beers on tap when we visited. But don't come for just that, the food is great. The Bighorn is American owned and has some American favorites but other good choices too. For vegetarians there are good choices, I really liked the sweet potato/quinoa burger. The owner does all the baking including the burger rolls.

Looking for something simple and but good burgers with a nice atmosphere Bighorn surprised me!I had the vegetarian burger with potatoes (not fries) at it was amazing. So fresh and juicy for being vegetarian burger!!Even though the staff have had a super busy weekend they where so helpful, took their time and made the evening very inviting and personal. They have a great selection of beers but they can also make incredible cocktails.Thanks for great dinner!

Arrêté ici un peu au hasard. Nous nous sommes régalé. Les plats sont tres copieux. Les saveurs sentent le fait maison à plein nez. Les nachos sont dignes de ceux que j'avais mangé à Barcelone. Ma salade césar avec de la vrai salade césar (ce qui est rare dans un restaurant) une sauce maison délicieuse. Mon fils a dévoré les BBq ribs avec leur sauce barbecue qui avait un goût maison la aussi. Un regal Reserva una mesa ahora

Took a half hour to get appetizer and one and a half hours to get meal (yes 1.5!) from unapologetic staff, and there were few patrons. Food mediocre at best (details could take a page...) and our large group had a good cross section of what was available (several menu items unavailable), but good beer. To add insult to injury there was an 8 euro surcharge for using a credit card!

Found this bistro on last day of 5 day trip. What a pity. The reccomended **** Mary was amazing to begin with. The pasta pesto with chicken was sensational. My girlfriend had the Seattle salmon sandwich with egg and chips, she loved it. Could not wait to taste coffee before writing this. Waiter was so cool and relaxed. Read this then type it into Google maps and get there.

A great find for a quick bite. Extremely friendly and helpfull staff, great wifi and above all really delicious (fast) food. The pulled pork and homemade nachos are highly recommended. The fries are homemade and truly delicious. They serve different sorts of beer too. Given the location you get real value for money!

Le cadre et l'ambiance du restaurant est peu spécial mais si on aime le thème ça peut passer. Pas forcément très bien placé dans une rue peu passante le soir donc peu de monde même si nous sommes en plein mois d'août. Concernant la carte, on y mange bien et c'est copieux ! Reserva una mesa ahora

Great food, nice selections of beers, a cozy atmosphere and super friendly service. Definitely a place worth coming back to every time!
