Whilst visiting family in Brighton, took them to Billie's cafe just by Hive train station as you walk from the station down toward the sea. Had a recommendation so gave it a go and so glad we did, five of us all had something different and we all loved it. I had a full breakfast and it was fantastic, my wife had something healthy and others all had something to their taste, so good it's now our nominated eating place. And another thing, the staff are lovely, and they love dogs.
I ordered my breakfast (big smoke) but they forgot to mention the waiting time was 1 hour… after 45 mins waiting I asked for my food and the lady said ohh you are in a hurry, do you want me to check? Off course after 45 mins waiting I am now in a hurry. I had already finished my coffee and when she came back she said 5 more mins, so after 55 mins my food came… nothing out of the ordinary a toast with smoked salmon and avocado.
Omg i reviewed best breakfasts in brighton and wasnt disappointed.. very friendly and kind the manager spencer shes very bubbly and polite the food was outta this world i had the irish breakfast my wife created her own and we both left absolutely stuffed its set us up for a days walking around brighton,,,NO 1 for us we will be back again if not tomorrow defo in August..as ma and pa larkin says PERRFICK...
A total HASHup! You have multiple choices of HASH and I picked the top of the list with bacon sausage and all the rest of a classic big breakfast! The servers was friendly, the coffee was strong and delicious BUT my HASH was a new potato in the skin sausage STEW with an egg and melted cheese on top… nothing crisp dull and grey to the eye.. a total disappointment. Went on Tuesday for breakfast after not going there for over 10 years as moved away. The farmhouse was “ok” but not the same. It was smaller and not as good quality products and did take quite a while to arrive. I enjoyed it but have had better but understandable in this current climate. Staff very friendly but the prices are not cheap.
Returned for the first time in 4 years and maybe there’s been a change in ownership but the quality of the food has definitely decreased, which is a great shame. We visited a second time to see if perhaps it was a one off but unfortunately not the hashes and full English were both disappointing.
Have been here a few times. The food is ok, nothing special but quite nice. The last two times I’ve been though the staff have been quite rude, and so although local am not sure I will go again.
Went for lunch, had the farmhouse hash, delicious. Vegan option available as well, which my daughter had and love. Make sure you bring you appetites as large portions. Coffee was great as well. Reserva una mesa ahora
