Bill's - Reservar una mesa

My husband and I have been going to Bill's for years. We've always loved the atmosphere (warm, cozy, upscale pub-like) and the top-notch cocktails. However, our last two visits have been disappointing. The food, while good, was not what we usually expect from this place. On our most recent visit, I had the walleye which was fresh, but virtually tasteless. The fish was accompanied by a side of beans that took up the majority of the plate. In my opinion, beans would have been better as a small accompaniment, or replaced by a nicely grilled vegetable and/or crispy potato as a counterpoint to the soft, flaky fish. Great local spot, good food. No reservations. A small bar, fills up fast with some locals staying for hours with one glass of wine. Great bartenders. Nice outdoor area. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50

Tried to make a dinner reservation, but the host said they only take lunch and brunch reservations. Seems odd… so we made a reservation across the street at Joe Muer.

I'm a sucker for short ribs and their short ribs grilled cheese is everything u could want. Get it. It's worth it. Their filet is also amazing.
