We reserved a table for New Years Eve as it was always somewhere we wanted to try, and being a special occasion we were happy to choose Bills. We were seated by a friendly waitress who served us and was lovely. Drinks were nice although they had ran out of beer that was bigger than a small bottle, and they are costly for a bottle so small. The male waiter who took our drinks order just suggested I buy two bottles when I said I wanted a beer bigger than a small bottle. I noticed both steaks they had on the menu were quite fatty steaks, but I chose one anyway and chose to have it cooked rare as this is how I like it done. When it arrived, it was full of white fat. I was at Clifton Suites having my blazer altered which would take about an hour, so I when for a walk around the Clifton Triangle when it started to pour down. So I popped in Bills for a coffee and a roll, whats nice surprise the staff were very attentive and showed me to a nice table where I ordered a very hot coffee, and a bacon and egg roll, the coffee was indeed very hot, but unfortunately I ended up with a sausage and egg roll, [I do not think English is high up on the job discription], but saying that the waitress spotted the mistake and offered to take the roll back and get a new roll and filling, as I was pressed for time I declined and departed. We were looking for a a nice, stylish but casual place to eat and Bill's fit the bill! I've previously been to a Bill's in London and glad to say that the good standard is the same. Unfortunately they recently dropped the bbq ribs from the menu a crime in my nephews' books, but we found comfort in their classic burgers and sirloin steaks. Friendly staff and wallet friendly menu makes for a good experience, so will return.
Breakfast is nice, maybe a bit overpriced but it tasted good so I didn’t mind too much. Service is good staff are friendly I just think as it is a chain you pay slightly more than most places so bare that in mind.

Being from Norwich who also has a Bills we decides to visit for lunch Did not book but was able to fit us in. Great selection available at a good price price. Staff were friendly and the Service was very good.
Wonderful meal and overall service, our waitress Eszter coped with our child Ben very well. Food was sublime, all satisfied. Would definitely come again and recommend to family and friends!
Very nice atmosphere, reasonably quick service. Food was high quality for the price, will probably go back again when I'm passing through Bristol again.
Lovely place, friendly staff, good food, lovely ambiance, not a massive menu but enough to keep me going for the next few visits.
