It was my first night in Texas and when I went to Billy Bobs... I knew we were at an authentic Texas spot. I've never been to such a place, and I'd definitely go back. It was so funny to come especially a Wednesday for her ladies night where women get free admission, while men pay $2 or $3. Cheap fee for a great night to do with so many things. My favourite learned how to cite the dance by simply hopping on the dance floor and following all literally footsteps. We missed the lessons from 7 to 8, but we have to dance on the open dance floor to about 10. There was a reserved lesson for at least 20 employees, but I still have to watch and dance on the sidelines. Then they opened the dance floor...

So Billy Bobs is a Stock Yards staple and has been around for a long time. I had been here before a couple times, but I possibly only had been here for one show previously. When buying a ticket to see a couple bands I wanted to see previously I had forgotten the set up for the venue, there was 2 ticket levels. One was $20 to be able to get into the venue period. With access to a ton of bars, pool tables, games and places to hang out. But not a lot of space to stand and watch the show. $40 level got you in the area that makes sense for people watching the show to stand in vs the hang out areas. If you're looking for a great tone, that's not it. The concert did not begin until 10, which was good, but until then one could not hear the house music that played. The drinks were too expensive. I expected an ugly price for shots that $10 for a shot Jack But $8 for domestic beer is ridiculous. Clay Walker was the main show and he was great. I was raised in the Texas Honky Tonk scene and Billy Bobs was a big disappointment. It felt more like a shopping center with a stage than a country music location. Billy Bobs could have been a great tonk at a time, but now it's just another commercial tourist attraction. So for all tourists who want to see a real torn ton, that's not it. Just a hint to...

I was taken aback to discover, after scanning the QR code, that parking would cost $15. Then we reached the entrance, which charged $3 per person. That's quite a bit to pay! I understand that it aims to be a tourist destination, but really, it's mostly just a place filled with things for sale inside. So, we ended up spending $30 before even ordering our food. The food itself was decent, but it wasn't anything to rave about. You can find good barbecue at any reputable BBQ joint, and many bars have a similar vibe. Clearly, this isn't a place you'd want to visit solely for the food. In hindsight, we could have chosen a different spot, but it was a learning experience! At least now I can say I'... Went here for a company holiday ? partyThis is really the world’s biggest honky tonk… it’s huge. They had 3 different party’s going on, a bull riding arena, about 20 pool tables, live music, line dance lessons and a gift shop ALL AT THE SAME TIME…The bartenders, servers, and hostesses were very friendly and helpful. Brie kept our cups full and Marcus made sure the buffet was on point.We even met Jill, the club manager, who made sure we were having a great time as we were walking around.Will definitely come back for a concert or a rodeo.

The service and staff were fantastic—definitely the highlight of my visit. Unfortunately, the food was a different story. The ribs were some of the worst I’ve ever tasted. On the bright side, the mashed potatoes were the best option on the menu. I generally leave positive reviews, but I was really taken aback by the poor quality of the food. If you’re just looking to enjoy a Bud Light and play some pool, then this might be the spot for you.

This place has about everything you 'd need, or even not need, in it. Bill riding ring, live music, gift shop, multiple bars, etc. it 's super spacious, and bills itself as "the largest honky tonk in the world. I thought that was odd, seeing as how the largest honky tonk was a WWE wrestler in the 1980 's and 90 's. Haha. Ok not my best joke but work with me here.Anywho, I 'd go back here for sure.

Truly the worlds largest Honky Tonk and all that entails. I didn’t care for the way they had the GA and “Pit” sections set up for the show I attended. I hadn’t been here before and I didn’t know that the GA tickets would be so far from the stage or I would have upgraded to the pit tickets. The restrooms were ample, with plenty of stalls, and one even had a fun photo op involving a bull, although it came at a cost! Near the exit, there's a unique "wall of hands" that adds to the eclectic atmosphere. Overall, it’s definitely an interesting place to check out!

This place is massive! It has everything you want in 1 place: drinks, food, billiard tables. Arcade, dance floors and a gift shop. It also has a place you can drive the cops for a picture I can definitely return to this place in the near future
