Family owned and run. The chef is a Gun! Ben and his team have an amazing passion for local produce and it’s evident in the flavour of the food. He served me 2GR Wagyu for my breakfast steak, what more can I say? Absolutely one for the bucket list and I will be back! Vegetarian options: Plenty on offer and open for alternatives if requested Dietary restrictions: Not a problem Parking: 6 or so spots undercover , plenty of street parking Kid-friendliness: Staff are the amazing, they remember you, made to feel like part of the family. Absolutely amazing food! This is hands down my favorite local restaurant, and I can't wait for them to reopen. The chef's passion for food is evident in every dish. The service is fantastic—relaxed, professional, and friendly all at the same time. The value for money is exceptional; you can expect to pay $25-35 for an average main course, which feels incredibly reasonable given the outstanding quality of the food—it's truly fine dining. Don't miss their seafood sauce soufflé; it's simply breathtaking. I'm a huge fan!
We absolutely loved our special dining experience last night, celebrating a birthday in a cozy, intimate, and warm atmosphere. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of. The staff at Billykart are incredibly attentive, friendly, and talented. The dining experience was outstanding; the food was beautifully presented and delicious. Diners beware. Really disappointing service and looks like things have changed for the worse. We’ve been coming to Billy Kart since it opened and hadn’t been in the last 12 months. Decided to go this morning and restaurant was less than a quarter full. Waited 45 minutes for my son’s bacon and eggs. I am sad to say the Billy Kart of old is gone. Hidden just beyond Coles in West End, this spot offers some of the most underrated breakfast and brunch options around. The menu is intriguing, featuring a variety of delightful choices. The service is excellent, and the food is of high quality. This place is perfect for special family meals and breakfast gatherings. The lovely Queensland-style decor adds to the charm. Celebrated a family member birthday last night. Great venue and vibe, the master Bender was at the helm and his expertise and flair shone through, the result was excitingly delicious, exquisite presentation and top notch service. I just enjoyed an incredibly delicious meal at Billykart. It was especially impressive considering my current complex food restrictions due to health issues. The staff was extremely accommodating, making me feel comfortable rather than like an inconvenience. This will definitely be my go-to spot for dinner in West End!
