We live nearby and are regulars at Billy’s. It’s a classic back roads bar with exceptional pub grub. There’s always a friendly local feel to it. We’ve had the pleasure of having one of the cooks, Shari, help us when we sit out in the restaurant/booth area. She is friendly, relatable and it’s clear she takes pride in what she does. Last night we got the Raphael and Hunting Shack wings, and a simple burger and FF for the kiddo. Everything came quick and hot. The kiddo accidentally dropped part of her burger and Shari brought her some Hershey kisses to distract. (Nice move) The Raphael was constructed wonderfully and it was delicious. We stayed nearby to visit Duluth for a few days. A friend brought us here the first night for some drinks and dinner. I got the Caesar chicken wrap and fresh cut fries... delicious! We liked it so much we came back the following evening. The owner and staff are super friendly and welcoming. We will visit again.
