I just finished eating at this restaurant, and it was our first visit. The staff member who assisted us was incredibly kind; unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but he had a white goatee. He was really fantastic, going over the specials with us and making great suggestions. His friendliness and helpfulness made our experience enjoyable. The food was delicious, and I would definitely come back and recommend it to others. We ordered two plates that included brisket, hot links, and turkey, along with sides of coleslaw, baked beans, mac and cheese, and potato salad. Everything was great! I can’t wait to return and try more dishes!
Six years ago, our son found this place and it's still serving exceptional BBQ. My husband ordered a combo plate with beef brisket and pulled pork (the plate was so full you can't see the pulled pork in the picture under the bread) while I ordered the pulled pork on a baked potato. The potato was enough for two meals for me and the brisket was incredibly tender. The BBQ was so good, we ordered extra pulled pork, brisket and smoked turkey to take back home to our son. And the bonus is, if you love dogs, the tables are decorated with awesome pictures of dogs to enjoy.
This is an excellent Oklahoma-style BBQ restaurant. I was delighted by the incredible tenderness and flavor of their BBQ. The friendly staff really added to the experience. We enjoyed the Pulled Pork sandwich with baked potatoes and baked beans as part of the Sunday lunch special, along with half a pound of ribs served with mac and cheese and roasted okra. A special mention goes to the roasted okra, which they proudly said was made with love—it was absolutely delicious!
Food tastes great, staff is great, too. Stopped in here while passing thru in 2019 and again in 2022. Place hasn't changed and neither has the wonderful experience. Friendly staff, ample portions, fair prices. Mac and cheese was thick and delicious. Pulled pork was tender. I had a Doghouse and it was sweet and smokey. Their sweet tea is great, too. Brewed just like in the southern US. Whenever we pass thru The Springs, we'll be stopping here for lunch. Reserva una mesa ahora
This is the best BBQ in town, and it might just be the best I’ve ever had—and I've tried plenty! There are fantastic choices for meat lovers, along with great side dishes. I usually order the 1/4 pound option with two sides and a drink, and it really satisfies my appetite. The meat is incredibly juicy, the sauces are superb, the side portions are generous, and the staff is wonderful. I highly recommend it!
The meat on the ribs was incredibly tender, practically falling off the bone. I could just poke at it with a fork instead of using my hands because it was that soft! The staff were exceptional as well. I'm not sure if he was the manager, but he was very friendly and energetic, frequently checking in on us to see if everything was okay. I highly recommend this place!
We really enjoy their brisket, hot link, sauces, beans and Coleslaw. Everything was high quality, tasteful, non-fat, and tasty; with a beautiful balance of smokiness and sweetness. For under $35, my wife and I will enjoy 3 meals, with some additional side salads from our refrigerator. Enjoy! Thanks Bird Dog!
