Bird In Hand - Reserva de mesa

Popped in with my husband for a drink or two in the garden as it was a lovely sunny day. We entered the pub to be greeted by smiley friendly staff, we both signed in using the NHS app. We ordered our drinks and they were bought out to us in the pretty garden by one of the lovely staff members. We enjoyed our drinks in the relaxed atmosphere of the garden. There were many other customers also in the garden. What a great evening we had and can’t wait to go back.

Cannot recommend here highly enough! The landlady and her partner were so welcoming and friendly. The staff were fantastic and service was great. The whole place is immaculate and has a brilliant atmosphere. We only stopped in for a quick drink but ended up chatting with lots of friendly locals and had a fantastic time! The board games which are free for customers to use were a lovely touch!

Great to see this lovely community pub back open 7 days a week after lockdown. A big thank you to Charlotte and all her staff for setting and maintaining a high standard in ccompliance with the Government guidelines. Made for a very safe and enjoyable experience and the 'make over ' to the garden and out door seated area a big bonus. Love all the plants and vegetables.

Since the new landlady stepped in, this pub has just got better and better. It’s the perfect local pub to meet people in a friendly atmosphere. Expect noise, fun and even some dancing. Lots of special nights are organised and always a great laugh. Everyone is welcomed. Love it. Reserva una mesa ahora

We attend the quiz here on a Wednesday evening fairly regularly. We like this pub as it has a lovely friendly feel to it. It is small and cosy and we always feel welcome. The staff are lovely, the bar snacks tasty and it has a good range of drinks, especially gin. I reccomend.

Really great pub.Good selection of beers.Friendly staff,nice sociable customers. The band in the garden were great(papa Nui, from Oxford)I will definitely be coming back.Shame the summers over,for the gigs in the garden.

A small pub close to the railway station which makes a handy stop on the way back from commuting. The mainstay of the Bird, though, is the regulars from the nearby streets and tradespeople working nearby. A proper local!

Always loved this pub and the new owners have done a great job renovating. Outside space feels like a swiss chalet and it is still full of the time served locals, which says it all. Reserva una mesa ahora

Visited today 21st May for lunch with a friend. The front door was bolted at 12.30pm, so impossible to provide a review.

Easy access, great atmosphere and great food!!!! The people are ok I suppose they gave me red wine and I liked it
