In my original review, I mentioned that the service was great with prompt curbside delivery, but I was underwhelmed by the food. I tried the Nashville Hot sandwich, which was flavorful and spicy, but it didn’t quite measure up to other chicken sandwiches I've had. The tots were overly salty, and the milkshake didn’t have the thickness I was expecting. Overall, it was a decent meal, but quite average, especially considering the price compared to similar fast food options. However, my recent experiences have changed my perspective, and I now believe Birdcall is definitely worth a visit!
This is definitely one of my favorite chicken restaurants. The atmosphere is lively and enjoyable for both adults and kids, making it a great spot for everyone. They offer a fantastic variety of options, even though the focus is primarily on chicken. The flavor of the chicken here is unique compared to other places in the area! If I could wish for one thing, it would be for this location to move further north toward downtown or Fort Carson, as there aren't many restaurant choices in that area. While it takes me about 35 minutes to get here, it's honestly worth the trip.
Birdcall is appropriately busy and worth the wait during peak lunch and dinner hours. I like the Deluxe Sandwich with fries. I recommend you get extra Birdcall Sauce with your meal, all their sauces are so good! The chicken on my sandwich is always juicy and tender with a perfect crispy batter. If you are craving a delicious chicken sandwich, Birdcall is a great choice. If you choose not to dine in, or drive through, you can order ahead online for pickup, which is what I doto avoid any wait. Convenient! I recommend trying Birdcall.
I had an incredible experience today! The bartender was fantastic—very approachable and knew just what I wanted. I ordered a growler, and it looks awesome. Rob did a great job! The place was really clean, no exaggeration, and since I was a first-time customer, I also got to try their amazing tots and fries with a special sauce. I will definitely return! The food is excellent, but I'm not a big fan of having to use a machine to place my order. I prefer ordering from a person, but that didn't seem to be an option here. Since it was my first visit and no one explained the ordering process, I found myself standing there trying to figure it out on my own. On a positive note, I really enjoyed the bar atmosphere, and the drinks were fantastic.
I put my sandwich down mid-meal to come on google and write this review. This place is hands down the best/most consistently good chicken in Colorado Springs. I?ve never been disappointed when trying a new menu item. Chicken is seasoned so well, tots are too, drink are always killer. 10/10 would recommend! Super neat atmosphere and great order functionality inside too!
Not Worth It! The kids' chicken nuggets and tenders were dry and overcooked. My chicken burger was nothing to write home about, especially for the price. The fountain drinks were good, and the staff was nice, but considering the cost, you're better off dining at another restaurant.
