We decided to share the Dixie Mac and Cheese. Although it wasn’t as hot as we would have preferred, it was still delicious—rich, creamy, and with an excellent cheese pull. The noodles were a bit on the tough side, but it didn’t bother me too much. For our main courses, we ordered the Dixie Southern Chicken and Waffles with Raspberry and Honey Butter, along with a Half Rack of BBQ ribs. The ribs came with two sides: jalapeño cheddar mashed potatoes and onion rings. The portion sizes were impressive. I ordered chicken and waffles, macaroni and cheese, key lime pie, and cranberry juice. The food smelled great in the car, and I couldn't wait to get home to eat it. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed to find that the food was undercooked. The chicken was seasoned perfectly but clearly needed more cooking time. The waffles were rock hard, and for $3, they only served me three-quarters of a cup of cranberry juice! They should really fill the cup, especially considering the prices—they're already quite high, and I could easily buy a whole bottle at a store for less. As for the macaroni, it was bland. Anyone who rates this place five stars clearly hasn't experienced authentic Southern...

The homemade sauces for the biscuits and bread pudding are a must-try, so be sure to eat in. The blackened catfish was perfectly seasoned, and the vegetables were fresh. The cheese grits were wonderfully cheesy, probably the best I've had in a long time. The shrimp Po' Boy sandwich was excellent; the shrimp were seasoned just right and fried to perfection, so they didn't fall out of the sandwich. For dessert, the apple cobbler à la mode was delicious. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the pandemic, and the portion sizes were good. I will definitely be returning! Oh my gosh, if you love fried chicken or have a Southern spirit like I do, this restaurant is a dream come true! I ordered the chicken and waffles with a biscuit and sweet mashed potatoes, while my husband had the pulled pork and chicken wings. Every single bite was absolutely delicious! I also took home a coconut custard bread pudding, and I’m sure it will be just as amazing. The service was fantastic; the chef even came out to explain one of the dishes himself when he heard me asking questions. This is definitely my new favorite spot! I highly recommend it!

Omg if you're a fried chicken lover or a souther girl at heart like I am, this place is a dream come true! I had the chicken n waffles w biscuit and sweet mash and hubby got the pulled pork and chicken wings. Every bite is beyond delicious! Tool a coconut custard bread pudding to go, I'm sure it will be amazing ingredients also. Amazing food and excellent family combo meals for takeout, making it worth every penny. Thanks to this place, my kids have become macaroni and cheese connoisseurs! Their homemade desserts are truly exceptional. The fried chicken is always juicy and crispy, made fresh to order, and all their meats are incredibly tender. If it weren’t for its hidden gem status, this place would be busier than a bagel shop on a Sunday morning!

I finally had the opportunity to visit this restaurant, and I was absolutely impressed by everything I tried! The food was fresh and delicious, and I highly recommend trying the biscuits and dessert — they are a must! I now have the entire menu on my to-do list because everything I ate was fantastic. Fantastic food, great takeout family combo meals and the food is worth every penny. My kids are Mac n cheese snobs now thanks to this place and their homemade desserts are out of this world. Fried chicken is always juicy and crisp made to order and all of their meats are so perfectly tender. If it wasn?t for their hidden gem status they?d been busier than a bagel shop on Sunday morning.

This is a hidden gem!! We had the biscuit and gravy, ribs, and creole Reuben and all were amazing. Service was perfect. All were so friendly and attentive.
