Stumbled on their website by accident and was hooked by their special 1st anniversary degustation night of their six best selling dishes. Menu looked fantastic and I can't stop thinking about it, so I made a reservation. Since my favourite French restaurant closed last year, I've been on the lookout for a new favourite, this could be it.<br/ <br/ A glass of sparkling on arrival and a friendly smile, enough to make a great first impression before our amuse bouche arrived, Escargot with Garlic Parsley Butter. We chose a French restaurant for dinner to bring back memories for two of us of our trip to Paris early last year. The food did not disappoint! I had the Pork Parmentier, pulled pork topped with potato wonderful flavours. Others had plat de jour marlin fish cakes, duck confit, fish. All comments were positive. Washed down with 2 bottles of French Pinot Noir. The menu changes often and the chef visited our table and chatted for about 10 minutes about his sources of fresh meat and seafood. To try the newly opened French restaurant in Haberfield, mum and a friend took a trip to Bistro Cocotte! Their first pick was the omlette of the day with salad and toast. The particular daily special was the Ratatouille omlette, and mum’s verdict was that it was very nice, with the vegetables perfectly complementing the omlette. Her friend opted for the salmon croquette with roquette salad, smoked salmon and tartare sauce, and she really enjoyed the sauce, which was the star of the dish! Reserva una mesa ahora

What a Smooth and intense flavour liver pate Yum!!!<br/ Beef tartare was yummy but it was too edible that lacked rawness of the dish.<br/ <br/ Main course we had duck confit and beef bourguignon tasted perfect with excellent presentation. One tiny comment wish duck skin would have been crispy.

Nice food, friendly staff. Barramundi needed more seasoning, apart from that a good experience. I would return if there were more non meat options. I found I was very limited to what I could order being a non meat/ duck/ offal eater. Perhaps a nice chicken dish???

Absolutely thrilled to discover this fantastic little French Bistro. I had the terrine for entree and the steak tartare for main, and both were delicious. Incredible food, great wine list and wonderful service highly recommend it!

It's my first time that I had beef cheeks, so on Saturday night the 22nd I had the twice cooked beef cheek and it was just magnificent and it went well with the carrot puree, lentils mushroom trumpet Reserva una mesa ahora

Lovely little local French restaurant. Food is beautifully cooked and very tasty, wine was good, and atmosphere is relaxed and intimate. Liked everything about our night here and will be back.
