Bistro Provence

I took my Mom out for dinner here due to high recommendation from everyone. We arrived and the host was great. We sat down. Ordered Crab Dip. It wasn't great. The crab tasted like prepackaged crab and the tuna tasted like can tuna. Was disappointed. The Ceaser (drink) was very watery. Then my Mom order spinach salad with brie cheese on top. They left the rind on and told us that how they do it all the time. Then my fish meal. The fish was so over-cooked. HOWEVER they did take the salad and fish off the bill. That made it up for us but we were so disappointed with the meal. I was looking forward to eating here. Sadly I won't go back. They prob had a off day or something.

Hadn't been here in years and was hesitant t go because I'd remembered it being quite expensive. We went at lunch time this past weekend, and the lunch menu is quite average pricing, but there was nothing average about the food. My fiance and I each had a panini and soup. Both sandwiches were amazing - fabulous flavours! I also enjoyed the creme brulee. The owner is lovely and made time to talk with each table. We will definitely be back!!! In fact, I had to convince my fiance that we probably shouldn't go back for dinner on that same night.

If you truly want to have a relaxing evening with remarkable food - this is the place! Everything we ordered was 10 out of 10. Not only is the food mouth-watering, the service is extremely friendly and engaging! When in Okotoks, DON"T eat anywhere else!!!!

Nice reason for short trip to Okotoks (from Calgary). Small cozy restaurant with friendly owner service. Met some friends there on Good Friday for a very relaxing long lunch. They serve a variety of panini style sandwiches. All very good.
