I can’t even explain how great this place was! The food was amazing and the people were so nice! I graduated college that night and they gave me a little congrats card, they made me feel so special I almost cried! Best dining experience I’ve had in birmingham in a long time! The food was just okay, could have been better. Had a lot of French food around the world but only been here twice, didn’t like it much first time thought will give another try, second time was still just okay. But the atmosphere was very nice. We kicked off our meal with a couple of drinks: an Old Fashioned and a French Martini, both of which were excellent. For our appetizer, we shared the Fritto Misto, which was lightly fried and quite tasty. We also sampled the gumbo, and it was enjoyable as well. My wife chose the Tournedos au Poivre. While they were flavorful, she had requested them medium well, but they arrived well done. If they had been cooked to the right temperature, they likely would have been even better. She decided not to send them back since she didn't want to cause any fuss.

A gem of a restaurant in B-ham! First time visiting tonight; won't be the last! From the first step through the door the ambiance is relaxed. The tables set with white linen and a single rose to set the mood. We began our meal with Charred Spanish Octopus and a bowl of New Orleans Style Gumbo. The gumbo was absolutely fantastic! The drinks and duck were both good but not necessarily fantastic. The duck was perfectly cooked and crispy but relied heavily on the brown gravy for flavor. I had a fantastic birthday dinner. Everything, from the drinks to the dessert, was exceptional. I will definitely return. The menu features a wide variety of French dishes. I highly recommend the Beef Wellington—every bite was filled with flavor. No French meal would be complete without vanilla crème brûlée, and this one was the best I've ever had. We made reservations for bar seating through OpenTable. The Blackened Louisiana Redfish was amazing! This was my first time dining here, and I really hope they still have the redfish on the menu for my next visit. The signature cocktails felt a bit pricey for what they are, but that’s pretty typical these days.

Wonderful ambiance with attentive and courteous staff. Very pleased with our dining experience. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The fried green tomatoes salad was a hit! Appetizer, salad, entrée, and dessert for 2 $150 w/o alcohol. Looking forward to a return visit when lamb is on the menu. ????
