The food is tubs of pâté of different types and flavors. They give it to you with a loaf of bread that is delicious and they have many tubs to choose from. The best one is the one the girl recommended to us, the Leonardo (Da Vinci) tub, but the others were also very good. 4 tubs, water and 2 coffees: €36 The place is beautiful and is a cool oasis for the heat of these days. We have been very comfortable in the shade of a willow tree. The staff is very friendly and they recommend things if you don't know exactly what to order (as was our case). The perfect place to gain strength Before or after reserving a canoe to go see the castle on the river. Our idea was to go to the castle directly, but...

super small spot on the oat of the cher river near chenonceaux castle. tables and chairs, in shade and sun to the garden dotted, order from a simple menu. best are the jars of the pate, the rillettes and very good brot served with small batons of raw. carrot and a tiny bowl of the garlic mayo, with everything served on a sweet little wicker picnic basket. local ice creams for dessert. excellent local rose also. can not think of a more beautiful place when they are hungry, but do not want a fully equipped restaurant meal.

we were surprised by the terrins. we didn't expect so much food. we have not been used to the resistance or something, but oh. we have tried it, it is an experience, and it is traditional! place next to the river with cozy and simple tables. but. it was really nice, fresh and we have a nice memory. perhaps a bit expensive, taking into account the amount of each terrine. Nevertheless, we could feel somehow satisfied and come safely to dinner.

what a fun experience at this picturesque tapas bar on the cher river. the waiters were helpful and informatiw and it was fun to drink local wine, watching the activities along and in the river. we were treated with a beautiful sunset. many thanks to the employees who feel so comfortable and welcome. we love it so much that we were there every night (2 nights) while we were in this area. there are no other places we prefer. An unusual place on the edge of the expensive with vintage furniture, under a magnificent weeping willow. The welcome given to us is warm. The terrine bar formula with a nice assortment of local wines, original cocktails or local beers is really nice. A large choice of fish or meat terrines and excellent desserts. Authentic and quirky but so charming!

terrible service. lazy personell unfriendly and not ready to help. enough space to sit, but not ready to pull into some extra chairs. ok, covid gives extra stress, but a friendly smile and positive attitude costs nothing extra. quality of the food that I cannot judge. because we left after 10 minutes. the worst service in France experienced so far.

Hired a bike from behind this bistrot. Whilst there sampled their ice cream. Devine. Lime with basil. Had a herbal tea and a coffee. On the day we returned the bike we had a delicious cake. All very good quality, and friendly service. Geat setting...by the river with quirky features and comfortable seating.

We ate here in the evening but it's really more of a lunch place with informal light meals available. I don't think they make anything actually on site, but the pots of pate were delicious and of course the setting right by the river is...sublime and earns that extra star. Reserva una mesa ahora

A welcoming and atypical place on the banks of the Cher to recharge your batteries after a day of canoeing. The decoration alone is worth the detour, palme d’or at the teapot fountain!
