We received very friendly service during our visit. The lunch menu is quite reasonable, featuring two courses for under £12. I enjoyed the hot salt beef and ox tongue served with carrots and a side of fresh green cucumbers—absolutely delicious! For dessert, I tried the noodle pudding, which was enjoyable but had a touch too much lemon for my taste. My wife opted for the fish balls, which came with a lovely salad and apple strudel. This is an outstanding salt beef bar and the only one for miles! The prices are reasonable and the portions are quite generous. The menu offers all the classic options you would expect, and the staff is friendly and cheerful. Plus, almost everything is available for takeaway, which is fantastic for those looking for an extended dining experience!

I dropped by for a quick lunch and ordered a Reuben sandwich. What I got was a hearty serving of corned beef, cheese, and pickled cucumbers, accompanied by a side salad. B&K is fantastic! They offer excellent quick service for both takeout and dining in. They could teach the New Deli bar in Borehamwood a thing or two about how to properly run a salt beef bar, as it seems they have no clue at all.
