I love Black Diamond Cafe and all of the staff here are so nice. Today, I ordered the Thai red curry chicken with rice and they now have boba! I ended up getting the oolong coffee jelly with little ice (but they do have normal boba, I just opted for coffee jelly). Both were good and I recommend any of their food. I typically get a lox bagel and a large hot coffee if I stop by for breakfast. They also serve alcohol here and on tap. There's free WiFi, bathroom, a place to sit comfortably, you can watch sports on a big tv, and directly outside is a bus stop/free shuttle, and Christie Park. Support a small business and eat yummy food.

I recently dined in for breakfast and had a delightful experience overall. The food was quite good, earning a solid 4 out of 5. The highlight, however, was the service, which was outstanding and truly deserves a top rating of 5. This is my café in Emeryville. The brew is quite tasteful, and the owner (Dave) is a pleasure. He even makes homemade jerky treats for my pup! Order the egg cheese bagel with cream cheese. It will change your life (or at least, make your morning much more pleasant). The bagels are freshened daily and the cream cheese is bomb. In summary, this place is more than a coffee shop — it is a community center, and the good people who own and operate it, add a ton of value to the neighborhood, so drop in, say hi stay for a while...
The food and drinks at this restaurant were excellent. We ordered the French toast, bagel sandwich, and yogurt parfait for Sunday brunch. The yogurt parfait was full of fresh fruit and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The brioche French toast had fresh berries that my friend really enjoyed. The hot drinks (mocha, chai latte, and hot tea) were all made well. The restaurant is located in a nice area and the staff were friendly. Our order came out quickly. We would definitely return next time we are in the area.

This is my new favorite coffee spot! The brewed coffee is delicious, especially when paired with oat or almond milk. The vegetarian panini is top-notch and one of the best in town. It's a perfect spot for a quick and tasty breakfast to grab on-the-go, with the option of outdoor seating. The cafe is clean, hygienic, and no-frills. I would definitely recommend this place.
The food and customer service at this restaurant are superb, with employees and owners Dave and Carol going above and beyond. The red chicken curry and chili are particularly outstanding.
I live nearby, and it's my favorite place to take a coffee, beer or sandwich. I love all the staff! It is a truly relaxed, comfortable environment with delicious food and drinks.
Excellent place to relax when you arrive at the eastern bay. Excellent coffee and sandwiches. Don't forget to try the chili soup. One of the best.
