Had the Ethiopian breakfast at this place several months ago (which I don't see on the menu anymore) and came back recently for the full Ethiopian dinner and it was amazing. The injira bread was like nothing I have ever tasted, delicious. The servings were huge and made for several more meals at home. Sadly we were the only ones eating there that night, this place deserves much more attention. I'm wondering if the dining area from the restaurant next door that pushes out into the street is blocking the view of Blackberry Bistro as people approach. Highly recommended on the nights they have the Ethiopian/Eritrean dinner menu.
I've eaten here both during their regular daytime meals (great salads and fries; my friend had a really good bean dish) and their evening Ethiopian food (vegetarian plate for 1 person easily feeds 2). Everything tastes delicious and the staff is friendly and professional. Will definitely be going back and recommend it to others.
This restaurant is a local institution and has been a feature of the Glenview District for years. The breakfast menu is extensive and everything from healthy food to extravagant comfort food is available. The help is super efficient and friendly. Worth the trip…
I loved my experience! The cafe Is cute, clean and a nice ambiance for weekday brunch with friends. The service was excellent! The waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. The food was delicious!! I will definitely return!
