We spent an enjoyable couple of hours watching the surfers and people on the beach from the large terrace. Staff were friendly and attentive. This Cafe gets very busy for the location, staff are very efficient. We started off with just refreshments and decided to then have lunch after seeing the good choice of food being served. We visited a couple more times during our stay and would recommend this cafe.
On arrival, the waiter insulted me for no reason at all (he assumed I was german because of my french pronunciation). Having a great day prior to this, I was caught off guard and never replied. Then he served med overpriced coffee with a grin. Biarritz is full of amazing bistros and cafes, please chose any other place than this!
The location is very stunning, overlooking the beach. It is also convinent if one wants something to eat while at the beach. I have tried one of there salads and one the pastas. Both are a bit pricey, the salad was in the much better tastewise. Still it is probably better to bring a sandwidch or similar and sit on the beach.
We went for afternoon coffee and desserts place is in great location, staff was rather tired and the prices were very expensive for the quality/quantity served. For example, price for apple pie was 5.50 Euro (the pie was thinner than a piece of toast bread) and 1 Euro for the ice cream. Similarly for the waffles, etc..... Reserva una mesa ahora
Lovely spot overlooking Grande Plage and the promenade so you can people and beach watch to your heart's content. Great for watching the sunset. Not cheap, breakfast 12 euros but you do get freshly squeezed orange juice, croissant and half a baguette.Service can be slow, you might have to chase them up.
I hate salad with a vengeance, though my wife tries to get me to eat it sometimes...lol. Anyway I had 2 here in the course of a few days and I have to say they were the best I've had in my, admittedly somewhat scant, experience. Looking out across the promenade, beach and beyond was a perfect backdrop
This is a basic spot...the food and service are average...but the draw is the location to watch the surfers on the waves and people-watch as locals and tourists go to and from the beach area. Pleasant for a late afternoon drink.
Great location overlooking the beach in Biarritz but that is about as far as it goes. Stopped for coffee - luke warm, bitter and very expensive. You're clearly paying for the location. Wouldn't return. Reserva una mesa ahora
Great location for afternoon cocktail and people watching. The mojito is highly recommended. Service is quite okay considering that they waiters are few and extremely busy.
