Block House Rostock

Después de atacar el primer lugar en el que íbamos a comer, ¡nos topamos con Block House! Parecía lleno, lo cual siempre es una buena señal durante la mitad de la semana y los clientes que salieron dijeron que la comida era excelente. Así que lo probamos ... y no nos decepcionó. Ambos comimos bistec, ensalada y patatas y todo estaba cocinado a la perfección. El personal fue divertido y el servicio fue excelente. Los menús están en idiomas, ¡lo cual fue genial! Nos gustan nuestros bistecs raros y estaban hechos a la perfección. El ambiente es lindo con una cocina abierta y un agradable bar y asientos al aire libre. El precio fue muy razonable. I love steaks and I like the Block House. Used to go there all the time. Sadly, in the past times, they always fail to match my order. In my past three visits, I ordered my steak rare just to make sure I...get something better than well done. This time, my fries were soggy and my meat on the medium-well side. Sorry, I really wanted to write something nicer but ... I give up. Particularly, since last time my service was so rude that I even contacted senior management at the hq. The response matched the attitude.

We enjoyed our steak with vegetables and turkey with baked potato. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only criticism is the gentleman who took our order (the manager?) offered me water with my wine. I said I would like water from the tap as I believe Germany's water would be totally safe to drink so no need to be unfriendly to the environment by consuming bottled water. The gentleman told me they do not have tap water. Disappointing as I have not had this problem in Germany previously.

The Block House is a steak house, located downtown Rostock and close to most sights. We had a steak and a burger. The steak was very good, made from excellent meat and well prepared, whereas the burger was a disappointment. The meat was firm and...not freshly chopped, not very tasteful. Service was good. ¡Excelente servicio a pesar de las horas pico durante Weihnachtsmarkt en Rostock! El personal está muy ocupado, el teléfono suena constantemente y aún brinda un buen servicio con una sonrisa y platos realmente buenos. ¡Bravo! Me senté en el bar para tomar una copa y cenar, funcionó muy bien

En vista de la reputación conocida, planeamos cenar en el restaurante Block House, Rostock. Pedimos Rumpsteak, patatas al horno y ensalada fresca. Realmente podemos afirmar que hemos comido uno de los mejores bistecs durante este viaje. Me gustaría volver a visitar

We tried MRS. RUMPSTEAK and MR. RUMPSTEAK and Shiraz wine. The meat was perfectly grilled and the wine tasted very good to. And everything to a good price, perfect for us.
