Do not let appearances fool you. Although it is nestled in the same complex as a cheap motel, this place is beyond amazing. We were only in Venice for 1 night but ate here twice because our experience was so great. We had 3 adults and 2 children who ate breakfast and lunch. Everything at our table was absolutely delicious with generous portions. It is obvious that the food is made with care and they don't cut corners. Our family dines out regularly and we still talk about how good the food was here. To top it all off, the staff was incredibly friendly and kind. We have always enjoyed the restaurant and mostly because of our server Brooke. She is fantastic! We had quit coming for a while because it seemed the food was slipping but went in today for my birthday. Discovered it is under new ownership. They didn't charge the menu but definitely upgraded the ingredients. Everything was delicious and the staff is happy again. You definitely want to try this place out. I recommend the Whiskey Bacon and their french toast is always killer!!!
Anna Marie our server was very nice and friendly! Excellent service! First time there for breakfast. Food was excellent! I had the BLT breakfast sandwich. My sandwich had arugula, bacon, egg and fried green tomato on sourdough bread.Hubby had the Corned beef hash. Our friends had the Banana French toast and the Frittata with sausage gravy on top. Highly reccomend!! In the picture the Corned beef was a half plate. Other half of meal was shared with my friends husband.
Neat little breakfast/lunch cafe with a Florida vibe. Cool and interesting decor, for sure. I tried the Whiskey Bacon Eggs Benedict today. It was eggs-celent! ? Next time I want to try the Whiskey Bacon by itself. It was awesome. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Granted, it wasn't very crowded, but I always appreciate drink refills before I'm empty. If you haven't been here, be sure to check it out.
