The food quality was good (not great, but not bad either). However we waited for 2 hours for Fish and Chips and another Main. Seriously? When we asked we were told that they did not put our main orders in until after our Entrees had come out (the entrees has been delivered over an hour earlier)Then the server informed us it would be another 10 minutes wait after we had asked. The server did apologize and offered us a free round of drinks which we declined as we were 3 adults and 2 children and had already had 1 alcoholic beverage for each adult. Pleasant people, but they obviously forgot to put our order in and did not tell us or admit to their error. Very disappointing as we had high hopes...
We ate dinner on Saturday at Blue Moon Grill. When we arrived they didn't have our reservation which wasn't a problem because the restaurant was relatively empty. Upon sitting down, we ordered the barramundi spring rolls only to be told they were sold out. We found it odd considering it was a Saturday and they had only been open for 2 hours. We started with the Crocodile Popcorn, which was generously coated in hollandaise sauce, and the Egyptian Prawns. By the way, crocodile surprisingly tastes a lot like chicken. The prawns were expertly fried with a crispy, flaky batter and served with a delicious sauce.

Excellent restaurant in the local area!!! We ordered all three versions of the fresh oysters and they were each delicious. We were definitely surprised by how much we enjoyed them, especially since we usually order just fresh oysters!! HIGHLY recommend the Malaysian chicken curry- I didn't even get a chance to take a photo, it was so so good. The chicken in the curry was super tender and the flavors of the curry were excellent. We visited this restaurant a year ago, and as promised, we returned this year. Once again, the meal was outstanding! I had the fish with a coconut mushroom risotto, which was fantastic! My husband enjoyed the steak as well. The only downside I noticed was that the cocktail prices were not listed on the menu (the prices for wine and beer were clear, though). I'm not sure if I overlooked it. The cocktails can be a bit on the pricey side, so next time I’ll have to stick to just one drink. That’s on me for not asking. But don’t let this stop you from visiting; this place is wonderful!
Gentle and careful service. We brought our children there on weekend evening. They paid attention to us and provided us kids stuff for fun. We ordered mojito and cairns pale ale. It tasted good. The watermelon oyster was fresh and delicious. The steak tasted normal and a lot of tendon. The pasta was good and tasty. We did enjoy their service. The scene of lagoon in the evening was beautiful.The price was reasonable. The hotel stuff recommended us to here. This is a place I would like to come back.
Great food but pricey. Ambience: A place that seems a step above the other restaurants nearby but it comes with a premium. A great place for a special night out or the happy hour. Open setting means it's nice and airy inside and out. Food: We had a selection of tapas options which were on special for happy hour. All were good but the standout was a compilation of 3 crostini. Some great flavors and clearly there's a chef who knows his/her stuff. Price: On the high side.
This charming restaurant features a lovely ambiance with outdoor lights and a great view. We even spotted kangaroos hopping through the parking lot! We sampled a variety of dishes, including the Bruschetta sampler (the pear and Brie was our favorite), Chicken Carbonara, and Crocodile popcorn. Everything was delicious! The restaurant was bustling with only one server, but she was friendly, and we didn't feel rushed. Definitely give it a try!

Blue Moon Grill, Trinity Beach. #facxual_events We ate here last night so, we have been Once in a Blue Moon. They have a terrific menu with lots of variation. Hard to fault really!
Very fast and friendly service and delicious food with large servings. The staff we attentive and the atmosphere was very pretty and soothing.
