We were seated next to a window with a lovely view of the Marina by a young lady with a lovely smile. It was our 50th Wedding anniversary so it was a special night. We had Roast Turkey and Roast Pork which were both cooked to perfection. Cranberry and Apple sauce accompanied the meal, along with Roasted Vegetables and gravy..It was great that you could choose a small or larger meal. Shame we couldn’t fit in the dessert. Maybe next visit. On leaving we thanked the Chefs and service people for a beautiful meal and excellent service. Will be definitely coming back for another delicious meal next time we visit Hobart. Thank you all.
Had a wonderful evening as usual. We did the package of the meal and concert. My husband had the grilled steak and he asked for medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection. I had the fish and chips, and it was perfect. The service was friendly and efficient. We enjoy the meal and concert as a complete package and would recommend it to anyone who are looking for a night out.
Had a small Xmas roast but had to choose between roast pork or Turkey. Roast potatoes tasted as if they had been reheated. Other veggies were freshly cooked and good. Staff are great and helpful. If you get a window seat, there are great views over the river, bridge, and up towards the docks. Possibly could have done with a few more Christmas decorations.
The service was fine. Did the online ordering, so really no service required. The food was not great. The battered fish was greasy, thw chips sat under it greasy. And they were like the ones that got left behind each time and cooked over and over. The side of steamed vegetables were so over cooked. Was very disappointing especially for the price

Very enjoyable experience at the Boardwalk Cafe. Probably the only thing is the menu needs to change. It’s been a long time. The pork was beautiful
