The venue is terrific, but the food and service are mediocre. There's a very good reason they don't have repeat business. If they could fix their poor execution, this restaurant could be lined up out the door, into the beach. Look at the business they are doing at "Local", with a poorer location.We started with the Seafood Share Platter, $36.99 Most of the platter was decently flavoured but the crab dip was awful. It was very salty and glue-like, a Cheese Whiz that made it impossible to taste the crab. Consistency of melted Cheese and the flavour of Whiz. We also had the Mixed Seafood Grill, the better of the two dishes.
My server was excellent! 5/5 Barrel Aged Margarita 3.5/5 didn't taste balanced to me (Was Bitter) Northwest Seafood Pasta was 4/5 (I've had better/fresher at other restaurants) One issue on my visit, on one of the hottest days, the hostess sat me by the window facing the waters which is nice but.. I was sweating while eating my pasta... Learn from my mistake and ask to be moved.. Not the best experience for me..
Went there for my friend graduation dinner! I was so full to do on the spot review ???????? but the experience is exceptionally good! The food is just so great we ordered to much for the appetizer we barely finish our main course because we we're so hungry from the graduation ceremony, we ordered alot ???????? and our server too she's so friendly but I forgot her name ????
Enjoyed eating here before a theatre trip, we sat by the window and the views of the bay and Kitsilano beach were wonderful. Had fish and chips which unfortunately were a little over cooked, and the batter was very heavy, but nevertheless it was a really pleasant experience.

My go to restaurant for catching a sunset GREAT VIEWS. Classic style and interior. Higher end vibe. There is a large parking lot nearby, so you'll never have to circle around for parking. Portions could be slightly larger, but food has never disappointed!
We share a few appetizers and drinks. Crab dip was served with deep fried pita. Why ? Dip is already greasy from the cheese. Most of it was left despite that we were 3 of us. Great Caesar salad and oysters. I would go back for the view.
The view was excellent. Service was great! They accommodated us when we asked for a table a little away from others, as we had two older people with us with health concerns. The food was pretty good, too! I would return for sure.
First time I've ever had crab or lobster amazing! Our waiter, Daniel was such a great host as well. The scenery was so beautiful as well.

I have always been a Boathouse fan because I absolutely love seafood and the always have a decent happy hour.
I wished that the food went with the viewThis is a great place to stop by after a stroll through the park.
