Hate to knock a local small business, but...cockroaches. I'll never go there again. I've been twice and the food is decent for standard eggs and greasy spoon food. The vibe and the service is not very clean and not very fancy, but I didn't have any major objections. But...While we were eating some customers came storming out of the kitchen yelling about cockroaches. It was a little unsettling but we weren't sure if it was some kind of personal thing or altercation or a person who was a little out of it. And you know what? I've travelled and eaten in restaurants in different places and bugs are sometimes just a reality with kitchens. But after we had finished our meal, a cockroach crawled out...

This place is not like it use to be.. firstly my Muslim husband asked for all beef salami which we done before and for obv reasons and she’s the waitress was like people keep trying to scam us. We paid the extra and the salami was super thinly cut last time it was nice thicker slices. Out food came with coffee or tea but she didn’t bring it or offer it till I asked and when Doing so only brought cups which where dirty with lipstick and coffee stains she was very annoyed and stressed but there was only 3 tables. When I asked if I could have a glass of water, I was told they only serve bottled water at a cost. I asked if that was legally allowed, so the owner came over with no mask on and confronted me. I asked him the same question and he went on to say the price of tap water increased, and that they don 't legally need to offer it, and to Look it up . Great service. From what I can tell, they serve alcohol, and therefore DO need to serve water. The bacon was half burnt, the smallest cup of coffee you can imagine was charged seperste from the breakfast and had 0 refills. Gotta be honest, the food was not bad I heard good things. I had an eggs Benedict and the spinach was alright on it kind of soggy but everything else was decent. Reason for the two stars is it says the meal comes with coffee. Pretty much every breakfast spot I’ve been to doesn’t charge for extra cups but they charge per cup and never told me. 8$ for coffee on my bill for a regular pot of coffee. I get it it’s hard times with COVID but coffee is about 20 cents a cup. Owner is super nice though. Went to Bobby's at 2:20 to get a quick brunch, we were rushed by the server saying they close at 3pm and to order quick (which I get, you dont really want to have to stay later- not the best staff etiquette however) Decided to just get a hot chocolate and coffee to go instead... The hot chocolate had bugs in it. there was a BIGGER one on my tongue which looked like a roach. It was revolting and I wont recommend eating at a place that has bugs in their food/drinks...

I heard so much about this place, but its really run down. The toilets did not work. The place was a mess. As for the food, I had smoked meat poutine which was a disaster. The price for it was 13.95, when I went to pay for it she rang it up as 18.75, I looked at her and she turned away. Sad.

Omelette was very average if not tasteless. I have been going here for years and really enjoyed it. But they are slipping. I do not eat home fries or toast and they do not offer any substitutes. Not even a tomato or something. Sad to have this neighborhood icon going down hill. Not sure why.

Located in Vanier,The lady thats normally there has a heart of gold super nice and helpful and food is beyond delicious and also excellent pricing and value ,even breakfast menu is amazing. Reserva una mesa ahora

If you can’t tell, that’s an omelet in the picture. Nothing like a nice burnt omelet. 2 stars because the toast isn’t burnt. Just got this on 23 October 2022. Will not be returning.

Bad food, rude staff, filthy bathrooms. Drip coffee is 8$ and the place has folding chairs with dirty plates. Hard pass. McDonalds would be better/safer.
