Bob's Bar and Grill

We stopped in for dinner; two families with young children. Service was great from the start. Given the location, we were not expecting a lot; they surpassed all expectations and then some! We ordered a number of very different meals, all came together and they...were great. Price was totally reasonable given location. Four of us with dinner and a few beer for $80 including tip. We will go again, and in fact one family went back the next night to test the pizza my son said was excellent. If you go, take quarters for the throwback Miss Pacman (and three other games). Also check the local artwork they have on display. Will definitely stop in again.

During our annual trip to the Kootenays, we always make sure to stop at Bob's after a round at the Riondel Golf Course. The food is delicious, with fresh ingredients, many of which are locally sourced, offering gourmet versions of pub fare. The restaurant may be older, but it is impeccably clean, a testament to the pride that Bob and his wife Wendy take in their establishment. While Bob's may be off the beaten path, it is worth the journey for the exceptional food and the local charm. Whether you are in Riondel for golf or to visit the beautiful beach and camping area, a meal at Bob's is a must.

This restaurant is very welcoming and caters to locals and tourists alike. We were greeted by Bob with a big smile. The menu offered a wide variety of choices and we decided to try the pizza, which was not just good but great. The crust was perfect, made fresh daily, and had just the right amount of flavor. We even took some leftovers to-go and they still tasted delicious on the way back to Edmonton. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

I have been to Bob's bar and grill every time I visit the Kootenay's. He has the BEST wings I have ever had anywhere!! I get them every time and it just wouldn't be a great trip to the Kootenay's without Bob's wings and a...cold Kokanee! If you are in and around the area, I would highly recommend stopping in for some food and a drink or two. They usually have live entertainment on Saturday nights. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK BOB!!! We spend at least one summer Saturday night at Bob's. Fun music, great pizza and friendly folks. This year's visit is a little later than usual, we're going tonight. We have always had fun, so decided to write a review so more folks will take...the detour off the ferry and stop in.

Bob and Wendy continue to do a fantastic job here. The food is always good value and excellently produced. The daily specials add variety. The selection of beers is good.

Two trips in a month. Pizza is fantastic and Chinese Night was equally as good. A place where the locals go so everyone is super friendly. A bit dated but good prices.

Great little pub in Riondel. Good service and pub food including pizza. Usually closed in winter. Nice outside deck on the sunny west side.
