I had the pleasure of dining in for lunch, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The cost was quite reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person. Food: 5/5 The food was absolutely delicious—every dish I tried was perfectly executed and bursting with flavor. Service: 5/5 The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Atmosphere: 5/5 The atmosphere was delightful. The ambiance was inviting and created a perfect setting for a relaxing lunch. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great meal at a reasonable price!
The authentic Texas BBQ was just as good as I remembered. However, I was quite concerned about the safety protocols. The person preparing food in the back wasn't wearing a mask at all. The person who brought our food to the table had her mask pulled down under her nose, which essentially meant she wasn't wearing it properly. Additionally, there was someone waiting by the counter for their food without a mask, and there was an 8-year-old boy in line who also wasn't masked. It really frustrated me. If I lived in the area, I wouldn't return until the pandemic is over and it's safe to be around people who view masks as optional.
I was genuinely impressed by this restaurant, especially considering how many options are available in the area. The food was prepared fresh, even late at night. The ribs and crab claws were outstanding. The baked potato was above average, with a nice smoky flavor. However, I felt the potato, while tasty, could have benefited from better toppings; it came with imitation bacon bits and no other embellishments. The Pecan Pie was quite good as well. Overall, the ribs were a highlight. I would definitely come back.
