The ambience is pleasant but a little noisy when busy. Service is pleasant and efficient The German food is non traditional. For example, the jaeger sauce is lacking in the mushroom, onion and bacon flavors you'd expect; instead it's a thin brown sauce strongly flavored with tarragon, almost like a béarnaise sauce. The red cabbage is similarly strange, tasting of anise instead of clove, apple and vinegar. Even the beurre blanc sauce is inconsistent; one day it's traditional, another it's so lemony that you'll wish for a fish to complete the dish If you're looking for traditional German cuisine, keep going. Karl. The food here is horrible. I have tried 3 times to give it chance. First- I noticed NOONE but me requesed Authentic food. (Others were eatting Pizza, Burgers, Buffalo Wings even Nachos The food my wife and I Tried to eat was Spatzle this was awful- it tasted and looked like it had been in the back room for 3 days !! Another time we tried the Brat Sandwich It wa also awful- the Hoagie Roll is NOT the bread to use for this !! The Schnitzel was DRY! I suggest noone go here to eat Authentic food .. You should go to Ziegfrieds who really know how to cook German, Austrian (Bovarian food)

The bison burger was juicy, flavorful, unique--delicious! The bun and bacon were notably good. Between that and the garlic fries and fry sauce, it was an awesomely different burger/fry meal. We also had the drunken chicken pasta. Very rich, Alfredo-type sauce with peppers and red onion. Also very good, though I sampled a fair share of my son's crispy, but not overly breaded, chicken tenders and fries. The beer was smooth (ordered the lightest of the lagers) and was perfect with lunch.
