Bok A Bok Fried Chicken

This was my first time trying the Burien branch of Bok A Bok, and they didn't disappoint. I got their Seattle Restaurant Week deal for 4 for take out, and my chicken was still piping hot and crispy when I got home. My order was prepared and ready for my exact pickup time and I really appreciate that since it means my food didn't have time to get cold on the counter. I got the brown butter coconut wings, fish sauce caramel boneless thighs, OG chili flake strips, kimchi mac cheese, tots, and hearty green salad. Oh. My. God. I happened upon this place on UE because I am recovering from covid in Seattle, and... I swear I didn't intend to over order. The fish sauce caramel chicken wings hit the spot, the coconut brown butter strips are delicious, the fries are perfectly spicy and I am saving the biscuit for later. I demolished the wings and fries straight out. My only regret is that you don't deliver to my home city. <3 Keep up the great work. I want to drop by the next time I'm in town!

I ordered the classic 5-piece BBQ Chicken Strips and Fries at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the chicken was overcooked, stringy, and dry even though they specialize in chicken sandwiches. The flavor of the meal was bland and lacked salt, and the dry rub on the chicken had no taste. The only highlight was the cheese sauce. At $40, the meal was not worth recommending or returning for.

In my opinion, I did not find the food to be enjoyable. Everything was too sweet. The wings lacked seasoning. The spicy chicken sandwich was soggy and overly sweet. The sauces were all sweet as well. The Burien location is still not open for dine-in when I went there last week. I ALWAYS order their Kimchi Mac n Cheese because it's so tasty. I usually am not a fan of chicken strips, but theirs are so delicious, juicy, each strip is humungous. I dip it with the Bok a Bok Ranch sauce, which is my favorite dip. Favorite place to get my chicken fix.

Iconic, epic, tasty, delightful, crunchy, crispy, bright, fresh, everything you want and more a personal favorite. Dirty bird sandwich is KILLER and the chocopies are awesome. Reasonably priced and absolutely SMACKIN Food: 5/5

Fantastic. The tender, juicy, and crispy bok-a-bok chicken lived up to its description and was incredibly flavorful. The sauces were also excellent.
