Another curry another city , this small area in Randwick called the spot is a plethora of bars and restaurants , an Art Deco cinema in the middle is a wonderful piece of history, besides that the bloomers as I like to call it is an ok place for a curry , usual fare as far as the food goes but quite good , I would go back so that's a big bonus, as I never return to a place I don't enjoy , so if your in Randwick Sydney and you fancy a Ruby this is worth a visit
Returned to this restaurant after a number of years. Bad mistake.Service non existent. Staff totally disorganised and unprofessional.Waited 15 minutes before our order taken while only three other patrons present.Entrée arrived 15 minutes later. 35 minutes after that we'd had enough of waiting for our mains and walked out whilst offering to pay for the fare we had digested. Certainly won't be back.
Went there pre cinema and just walked in. We didn't expect too much but the food was actually very nice. We had a vegetable korma and another curry with potatoes and peas and some cheese naan. What I liked was that the vegetables were actually not as overcooked as one is used to from Indian restaurants. They still had bite and colour. Good place I'll be back.
This one is worth going to if you love authentic Indian food. It's making my mouth water just thinking about it. Complementary pappadums when you arrive. Medium priced dishes with a good variety of choice from the mild to the hot. BYO available, and beers available in house. So delicious. It has been a favourite of ours for years. Went here for a date a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. Got delivery last weekend and the curries were still as delicious as remembered. Good flavour and spice to them. The naan however was dry and hard and the rice was really watery. Wouldn't order the rice again.
Excellent food, we were really impressed. The peshawari nan was perfect and the vegetable korma had just the right amount of spice, all with fresh ingredients. We'll definitely be going back.
We have been eating here for over 1 year and love it. The butter chicken is soooo yummy. The naan is the best ever. The staff is friendly and the service is good.
Lovely Indian attentive staff. Food was authentic. Certainly worth a visit. I come from Adelaide and we have great Indian food and this is on a par with that Reserva una mesa ahora
