A bit too pricey for chicken wings and drums. 2 flavors of sauce, one is a mild sweet delicious flavor and a great texture bite. The other flavor is hard to say because the spiciness was so intense that all I felt was my mouth, tongue, lips, esophagus...and I 'm pretty sure the plate also, melting away. I 'm not sure if the hot wings are always that hot, or if someone messed up with that batch of sauce and pretty much only put intense pepper juice all over it. I have been craving the chicken of this restaurant for a long time, and I finally got a chance to visit it. Of course, I also wanted to share my good experience. I went to the place and it was busy, but not as busy as compared to my last visit. This is, I think, my number one go-to spot whenever I want Korean chicken, wings and all. I like their chicken and other foods because they have a good flavor that is really delicious and satisfying. I went with my daughter (8) around 1:30 pm and were the only people there. The greeter was friendly and said we could sit wherever we wanted. The tables were extremely sticky and I then had to stare the waiter down to be able to place my order since he was visibly on his phone the whole time we were there. After recieving our food we were never checked on until our receipt was brought over at the end of the meal. So we werent able to get refills on our sodas or ask for more napkins. We ordered the katsu chicken, chicken sliders, and potsticker. The food was delicious but the service is a big deterent for us returning.
Our new FAVORITE WINGS! First time for my husband and I trying this place. We'll absolutely be back to try more things in the menu! The soy garlic wings are definitely worth trying. The texture and flavor are AMAZING. Korean bulgogi tacos are very good as well. We tried the pork buns and the soft, pillowy buns were EVERYTHING... let alone being stuffed with perfectly cooked pork belly. Great place!

How is the chicken? It’s some of the best you’ll ever taste! Bonchon serves the finest wings in the Chicago area. The hot wings can vary in spiciness depending on who’s cooking, but they are always incredibly tasty. They are perfectly crispy and pair wonderfully with the pickled radishes. If you want something unique and a cut above Buffalo Wild Wings, definitely give Bonchon a try!
This was some of the best fried chicken I've had in a long time. Honestly, it was much better than Harold's. It wasn't greasy at all and was cooked to perfection with an extra crispy texture. Each bite had the perfect crunch. The pickled radish was also quite enjoyable. My wife ordered the Soy Garlic flavor while I went for the Spicy Korean, and both were delicious.
Bonchon is one of my all time favorite chains, and I've experienced them all over the world. This experience was just OK The service was a tad slow, the food came out in an odd order (appetizers came out last), and it just didn't taste as fresh as it has at other locations. Still delicious, I think I just have incredibly high expectations for Bonchon.
This location had a weird smell to me. Also, the service was okay. They need to hire more people. Finally, the food was way too salty. There's a Korean chicken restaurant in the city, Crisp, that makes way better soy garlic wings...you can feel the love in the food. Here: not so much.Food: 2/5

Make sure to try the seasoned fries; they're fantastic! I was expecting to be more impressed with the bibimbap, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. On the bright side, the service is outstanding! Overall food rating: 3/5.
