So we arrived and there were only 2 other people there. Staff is very very young. The lack of a crowd in the restaurant or bar should have been the first sign. Burger ordered medium… was so well done you could use it for chalk on the sidewalk. My chicken sandwich… both the cheese and tomato slice were thicker than the chicken. The one waiter was telling another customer they changed the menus today. Menu was EXTREMELY limited. I am guessing the cook was limited in his skills. He was the most senior server there… started 3 months ago. Nice looking place…. Maybe down the road they will do better. Won’t be going back. I suggest giving them a few months.
My train enthusiast kids loved it, there’s lots of train decor and history. There’s great areas outside to walk around while waiting for food. The staff is friendly and helpful. They are young, there was an actual child working there but everyone has to start somewhere! The food though was awful and it stung a little paying for it. Kids Mac n cheese was basically microwaved velveeta, the black bean burger patty was frostbitten, the cheese on it was unidentifiable and the crab cakes were mediocre. Best thing was the salad. Maybe they’re having issues staffing the kitchen since very little was made in house.
I live in the area but this was my first time dining at Boonton Station. I’m glad I went! The food was good with decent portion sizes. Our waiter was very attentive and very cautious on behalf of a member of our party with food allergies. We ate in the outdoor seating area, which was plenty warm even though the temperature was in the low 30s. Will be back!
My favorite restaurant when I lived Boonton. Loved bringing my family and gf there. Their outdoor space next to the train tracks is cool, especially when the train goes by. Also, their indoor bar is always festive. Almost forgot to mention they have great food and drinks!

The service here is beyond amazing. They accommodated a large group when they had every reason to deny us. We had a very large party and everyone raved about how delicious the food was. 100 percent recommended.
What great restaurant. We sat outside in covered area with fire pit and ceiling heaters. Very comfortable. Food was good and service was excellent. We had a group of 8 and really enjoyed our evening.
It's was very nice. We really enjoyed the inside and how you can still tell it was a Train station. The food was very good and the staff was great. I know we will be back again
Went back after years and it was awesome! Really great service, revamped menu with delicious food and drinks and awesome atmosphere! Looking forward to more memories there!

Had a 60 person party here. Everything was perfect. The food, the staff, the atmosphere. Still getting calls from my guests telling me what a wonderful time they had.
The food is good. Service is excellent, but forget it if you are disabled. The atmosphere is cool! A little pricey....
