I walked up to this food truck with my kids earlier today and when I arrived I was greeted by a nice young man, he deserves his props he had on some sort of jacket or hoodie under his shirt and he made everything easy for me and even helped me choose sauces, I greatly appreciate it all and on top of that the food was AMAZING !! 10/10

National Zoo Location: Now that I know the Jambalaya is actually $12 and not $11 as the menu reads. The food has every bit of flavor I was expecting but since “they made all sorts of errors on the menu if I read it correctly” I’ll probably not come back. Get the menu fixed or point out the price and spelling inconsistencies.

We had great food for the entire family from Bootheel! The online ordering via our phone was very easy and their menu listed the allergies clearly which was big help. Kids loved the chicken tenders and we loved the pulled pork and brisket! Thanks again, you saved our rainy Friday night dinner dilemma!!

They were at the Smithsonian National Zoo and they took “Zoo Food” up another level! The family enjoyed great pulled pork sandwiches, very well seasoned and tender chicken strips, and crispy french fries! Made our trip to the zoo so much more enjoyable to have some actually great food!

At National Zoo, truck hit the spot!!great food quick service. Staff approachable. Great BBQ tasted like home cooked BBQ.
