Borealis Grille & Bar

I had lunch there recently with my family, although it wasn't terrible I was not impressed. My daughter and I both ordered the hamburger and it was very over cooked and dry and the fries were very soggy and not properly cooked. My youngest daughter ordered the curried mussels and they were excellent with amazing flavour. I think we caught them on an off day and will definitely go back and try them again. The service was very good with knowledgeable and prideful staff.

We had an uncomfortable experience here. Waited 10 min. to be seated while available tables sat empty. Saw no "reserved" signs on these tables.After being seated, we (party of 3) sat another 15 min., ignored, as the server took the orders of the table beside us (party of 4)...these people had just arrived...really poor opticsTwenty-five min. of negligence killed our appetites...we left without ever getting a chance to order.

Good food and nice patio. Enjoyed the local seasonal menu but did not think it was anything that exceptional and a bit over priced. The service was pretty bad, I had to go to the bar to ask for water and hot sauce as the server did not come by our table after our food was brought out by other staff.

Had lunch here after having it recommend to us.The food didn't look fresh. Nachos were so dry and not good at all. Fish and chips were dark in color and didn't taste well. Chicken burger was nothing special. I was expecting a much better lunch and was very disappointed.

We were a large group. Everything was set up for us when we arrived. The menu was interesting. The server was really good. The food was excellent and well presented. Everyone in our party enjoyed the total experience. I would go back to eat there any time with pleasure.

Have been here pretty often, excellent food and what is special about this restaurant is the emphasis on local content. What a nice place. Located conveniently in the south end of the city, great food, lots of local beer!!

We went to dinner here on earth day and had a wonderful server - very outgoing and accommodating. Good was very good and the observation of Earth Hour was a nice added touch!

Large group (8 adults plus 4 children) with reservation, table was readly when we arrived. Service was excellent and varied selections that satisfied all.

Accessible entrance with automatic doors, nice easy access tables, friendly and competent said staff, good menu and reasonable price.

Amazing food and service, always consistent. I highly recommend for any occasion. Fish tacos and sangria are my personal favourites.
