This is a wonderful restaurant! I visited for lunch and discovered that it’s a local gem in the city, and now I understand why. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients is evident. The Italian food has a home-cooked style with a creative twist. Everything was fresh, and the menu changes frequently. We tried the “bread” marinara meatballs, early peasant vegetables, soft cheese, and crab/wild fennel pasta, all of which were exceptional. The desserts were also fantastic! I highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates local restaurants that prioritize quality and the well-being of their employees.
I experienced incredibly friendly and knowledgeable service at this restaurant. The atmosphere was outstanding tonight, and I can't praise the staff enough. They have an extensive wine list and the food was delightful – definitely one of the best Italian meals I've had outside of Italy, if not the best overall. There was a wonderful blend of Italian and Kentish flavors and aromas. Simply perfection!
Went yesterday for lunch, 2 x adults and 2 x 6 year olds. Amazing experience. Staff who knew their stuff about food and wine (and including the lad who named the Millennium Falcon on our comic) they were all just generally nice people. Food was exceptional, relaxed and enjoyable environment. Highly recommended.
I had a fantastic dinner at Bottega Caruso! The food was amazing! We enjoyed a variety of dishes including pickles, anchovies, a type of bean stew, pasta, and tiramisu. Every dish we tried was delicious, and they have an excellent selection of orange wines! I can't wait to return and try even more!

Absolutely amazing food, wonderful service and a brilliant location. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Make sure to book before visiting as it is very popular and you wouldn't want to get turned away!

Amazing experience. Food 5* and Service 5* too. Portions are good, tastes amazing and served in reasonable time. Drinks also really nice.
