When we wanted to give up and return to our hotel around the corner (Palliser) we stumbled in this place. The menu had many options. We were looking for a place to eat before we went to a concert, we stubbled upon Bottlescrew Bills in Calagry. What a name! Other than parking being a challenge unless you want to pay and park. On a business trip to Calgary and my colleague ate here by himself one night and liked it so much, the three of us headed back the next night to try it out. As the wings were half price, we got one order to split. My colleagues were disappointed that they didn't have blue cheese dipping sauce, but I enjoyed the standard Ranch. For our entrees, I got the Bison Steak with an add on of mushrooms and onions, one colleague got the Top Sirloin with add on of mushrooms and onions, and the other colleague got the Ahi Tuna. amazing service. friendly staff. eating is particularly delicious try the chocolate cake. the inner is spacious and cozy. they are currently supplementing brewery equipment and looks beautiful. perfect for a first date, catch up with a friend, events (before) or to take a quick bite. 10/10 all over the board one of my favorite spots in the city for eating and atmosphere. prices are standard prices for pubs and eating is good.

We love Bottlescrew Bill's - the service is always fantastic, the atmosphere is fun, and the passport experience is such a great idea. However, I wish SO BADLY that Bottlescrew Bill's would get better cider. Can you please get some dry cider from Nova Scotia - you know, that is just apples? I can't consume the stuff with additives - that's not cider. Please please please!
great little spot. one of my favorites in the city. eating is good, the beer selection is great and the location is close to everything you need downtown. They also have a large terrace! they have their own craft brews as well as selections from alberta and beyond. a place they should add to their lists when they are in the city.
Edit: second time here and Jasemein was wonderful and so nice! Thanks to her I had a great night. The poutine was what I'm used to in Montreal. Want a good poutine? This is the place, and the Bison burger came out as delicious as expected. Fast service, great crew, great chef, only good things to say. Well done.
Great bar, the beer that they are right there brewing great taste, good selection of different beer. Any kind I really tasted good This is a bar you need to visit when in Calgary. Family owned by more generations, people there work fantastic.

The best Ukrainian pirogies I tried in Canada! The taste and serving are amazing. They also have Ukrainian beer! Highly recommend
