We were here last year and on our first day when we discovered the bakery we had the most delicious almond croissant along with a fantastic coffee. On the second day after munching on our croissants the wonderful proprietor of the bakery sweetly announced that they made bouillabaisse soup for the first time. Now I truly was in heaven and it was as close to authentic as I have tasted in a long time. Well we are back and this year and I hope the soup and croissants are still available. Yoo hoo...
Gorgeous little homestyle bakery and restaurant. The ambiance is very warm and cosy with nice indoor and outdoor seating. The food was excellent. We had the Greek salad sandwich which was delicious and the vegetarians will love the Vegepate plate (we had the Indian option, there's also Cajun). Pastries and coffee and hot vanilla milk were delicious too
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at your bakery. I found the atmosphere to be cozy, clean, and comfortable. The variety of products available at such affordable prices was impressive, and the quality of the items was excellent. The staff were courteous and welcoming. I highly recommend this bakery for delicious bread and pastries.
Third time is a charm. We found ourselves coming to Rivière du Loup in 2018,2019 and now 2020. Both times the bakery was closed (they are closed Sundays and Mondays). I was amazed by the delicious pastries and food at this restaurant. The coffee was also excellent. Despite our limited French, the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating.
This local bakery is so cozy, with freshly baked bread every day and delicious jam for breakfast. It is a fantastic breakfast option on your way to PEI.
