I had heard good things about this chain, so I decided to give their takeout a try. Unfortunately, the shawarma chicken was overcooked and dry, and the beef wasn't much better. The pitas also weren't very fresh. Everything lacked flavor, and eventually, we just looked at each other and decided to toss it and make something at home instead. On a brighter note, the staff was very friendly.
The food is ridiculously overpriced, especially for something as simple as cabbage sandwiches. I spent $15 on two chicken pitas, and there wasn't even any chicken in them. It's just not worth it—this feels like a scam. Essentially, I paid $15 for cabbage in a pita. I feel like I’ve been cheated.
The quality of the food could use some improvement. The potatoes have little flavor and taste mostly like poor-quality oil, with no seasoning whatsoever. The portion of meat is quite small, dry, and cut into tiny pieces. I know you can do better than this—let's raise the bar!
I love all the boustan. I really wish they had one in Vancouver. This is the best shawarma I?ve ever had from a chain and I?d come back over and over again if they had one in Vancouver. During this one week work trip, I visited boustan 3 times. Reserva una mesa ahora
The potatoes were disappointing—undercooked and lacking in color. The sauce was minimal, leaving the potatoes tough with an unpleasant, raw texture. This does not meet the standard we expect from Boustan. I cannot recommend this dish.
Update: I spoke with the on-duty manager, who was very nice and quickly resolved the issue after I reached out. However, the staff member who provided such poor service was named Amira, and I would recommend avoiding her altogether.
Very cold and bad service! To the short cook who was working today Thursday 27th around 10pm if you have any complexe or don't enjoy your job, find another one but spare us your bad service and humor.
Hi Excellent Lebanese food at Boustan ! Very clean restaurant. My preferred meal is the mix shawarma ???? and it always great. Staff friendly Ample parking space . Cheers Mike Reserva una mesa ahora
The falafel was ice cold, as if it had just come out of the refrigerator. Even after I heated it up, the flavor was still quite unappetizing!
