Recently visited DC in August in Remembrance of my grandmother and this local eatery was walking distance from my hotel. I saw advertisements in our hotel room and thought, why not. So, on a 5minute stroll we, made it. Its a small spot but very busy. While looking over the menu, atleast 3 or 4 uber eats drivers did order pickups. The inside is fairly small but they have about 5tables with chairs. We got a bottle of wine to take back to the hotel and had a couple of spritzers with our food.. our food was really delish!! Order from their website and not yelp. They charge $2 more through their app link. With that said, ordering in person isn't much longer than ordering from website. It's convenient to hotels at Crystal City and opened late enough that you can walk there under a cool night. It's mild here right now, so not bad walking from the hotel either way. Desserts are a bit absurdly priced but the sandwiches were reasonably priced (yes, I'm accounting for DC prices and inflation). I loved the convenience from my hotel (Courtyard) but even more convenient for Renaissance and Hyatt.
Love this place. It's so convenient being literally a few steps from the entrance to my building! The food and delish!! I've thoroughly enjoyed everything I've ordered from here! The chicken pesto salad, chicken Parmesan pizza, and mozzarella sticks are my faves!! The white pizza is a close second. The service is always super fast and so friendly! They have seating outside and inside is standing room only. Definitely a small business that I love supporting again and again!!
Great subs! We grabbed a Metro Italian sub on the way to the airport on our last day in Virginia. Dang! Why didn't I try this place sooner?! It was busy but worth the squeeze. I would've preferred just a little more meat on the sub for the price, but still a delicious sandwich. I highly recommend this little place for quick to-go bites or to take back to your hotel room and enjoy in peace. The BBQ chips were great too! I noticed they are made in VA so I will miss them:

The plant based Bizzarro was an exceptional vegan pizza. The crust had a great char, it was loaded with flavor, and it had ample vegan cheese. The 10 made a very robust pushing too large serving for one but it was so good I ate the whole thing. They do not have indoor seating which I missed but even ordering and waiting my food was ready in record time. Thank you to the woman at the counter for the spot on recommendation!!
Really like this spot. As a big fan of pizza, this place did not disappoint. It was so good! My friend got the Caesar's Revolution Pizza and really like it as well. The amount of avocado they put in the salad was very generous. The service is always good. The ambiance is good too. Mainly a grab and go kinda place, but that doesn't stop us from going there.
with a small group for a quick dinner in crystal city stopped. I had cheese pizza and carrot cake. dessert was big enough to share. everyone in our group found something and it was all good. I went back in the next night for another cheese pizza. light and crispy crust, good sauce, will come again definitiw when I am in the opposite.
I ordered a caprese sandwich and it had hardly any cheese on it. There were only two small pieces of mozzarella. The next time I ordered it, I paid extra for more cheese, but it still had less cheese than the first time. I travel frequently and would not return to this restaurant for the price I paid.

we are here twice in two days. they have wein, beer, ipas, the best cake and the most delicious food. pizza, huh and parm, everything is good. returned at 845 and closed at 9 and we are happy to eat. familiesix stars!
