A large restaurant beer hall in a small industrial area south of the Isar. We visited on a Thursday lunchtime and there were only a few people in, giving us a good choice of tables. The brew kit is visible behind the bar, and the main room is decorated in a traditional Bavarian style. We were presented with the menu and asked what we would like to drink. I asked for a small glass of each beer, but unfortunately they had had a problem with the brews of the dunkle and the schwarzbier so I only got to try the Helles, Pils and weisse, which were good. I don't know why the English reviews of this place are so flattering. It's really not good. There were five customers on a Saturday night at 7pm if that tells you anything. Food was poor, beer was 'blah', and service was adequate. Menu was limited and quickly got expensive. Honestly, do yourself a favor and skip this one.
Leider kann man keine Null Sterne vergeben. Wir waren nur zu dritt im Lokal und mussten sage und schreibe über eine Std aufs Essen warten. Dann bekamen wir ein rohes Schnitzel für unsere Tochter, und zwei Schweinebraten . UNTERIRDISCH!!!!!! KALTE KNÖDL und die Soße war nur ein braunes Wasser mit weißen Fettaugen.
When we went there the place were full but only took us less than 2minutes to wait till we got a table,excellent authentic food,beautiful beer garden outside .... but then you have to make a move to get attention from their waiters since the place always crowded and noisy ...

Wir sind gestern hingefahren leider gibt es weder essen noch Trinken. Ein herr hat uns gesagt das es nichts mehr gibt nur übernachtungen noch. Das könnte man aber schon bekannt geben. Anfahren lohnt sich nicht eventuell nur zum übernachten.
We arrived mid afternoon and were just one of two tables. The waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere was classic brauhaus. The menu was adequate for our lunch and the beer excellent.
Freising is a town of corporate breweries, so it was good to find a local place where there's a focus on honest service. The weissbier was tasty and our meals were true to Bavarian style.
Very nice and traditional ambience! All the food was pretty good, but the strudel and the house made Weiss beer were superb! Very good value for your money!!!

Die Gaststätte ist geschlossen, kein Bier mehr.... kein Essen... also alle Bewertungen hinfällig.
Das Lokal ist schon seit 2017 geschlossen. Aber die Internetseite läuft immer noch.
