I went in on a whim to order a small butter chicken and rice. Someone (I believe the owner) recommended me to get the non-veg thali combo as I would get bigger portions of everything a lot to try. It was absolutely a good value for how much food you get.Butter Chicken: You can definitely taste the tomato. A bit too much for me. The taste was almost like a spicy can of Campbell's tomato soup. Edit made on Sept 10th,2023I’m reducing the review from 5 start to 2 star solely for how many times I had missing order items with this restaurant via Uber eats. I never receive the order in full- there is always something missing like one time it was chai that was missing, the other time it was a pop and today the order was missing Samosa. I received the mint chutney but no samosas! When called they say mention the missing order in the notes section for next time and apologize for their mistake but make the same mistake again!All that a customer wants is the items they ordered with hope. We went to this restaurant for Diwali sweets and found them to be too expensive. Rasgula, Gulab Jamun, and Soan Papdi were priced at $15 per pound, and Jalebi was also $15 per pound. We recommend going to Fresh Co for all your fresh sweets at only $7.50 per pound. One of the most annoying things about this place was that they had a sweet stall set up, but there were empty boxes kept behind the counter. You had to first wait in line to get an empty box, then wait in another line to pick out the sweets you wanted, followed by getting them weighed, getting a price tag, and finally waiting in line again to pay.

Only eat at this restaurant if you enjoy superb, authentic Indian food and excellent service. As a born and raised Bramptonite, I can tell you it is one hundred percent authentic. If Brampton Authentic Indian Food Ottawa wasn't a long car trip and a plane ride away, I'd eat here every week. As it was, it was a fantastic addition to my trip home to Ontario. I ordered the shahi paneer curry and requested it to be spicy, but it still turned out sweet. Although the taste was good, it would have been much better if it had been spicy as I had asked. I also tried some items from their hakka menu, which were amazing. Overall, the food was good, but the service was slow. It took 25-30 minutes to receive a single dish that I had ordered.

Table was dirty so I had to clean the table myself. Slowest and Worst customer service. Poor restaurant management. Ordered the food and the wait they mentioned was 15-20 mins. Checked with the owner after 20 mins and wait time was 25 mins. I am giving 1 star because 0 was not in the options.

Very good authentic Indian food, would definitely recommend to anyone that likes Indian food, Very flavorful, can't complain about anything on the menu and they also have a very large assortment of Indian sweets/deserts that are amazing!

The restaurant is fantastic with scrumptious food and appetizers. The various options of desserts also enhance the overall dining experience. I will definitely be returning to this place again.
