This review reflects our disappointing experience with the service. We waited for thirty minutes before anyone came to ask if we were ready to place our order. During that time, we observed the head server chatting and clearing tables, which contributed to a sense of arrogance in the atmosphere. Although we could have chosen another restaurant, we wanted to show our support for a small business. We are sharing this review to raise awareness of the service issues we encountered.

We showed up at Branches right before they opened with our friends who live on the Cape. They had never eaten here before. Both couples split a jerk chicken dish along with a Caesar salad. Melissa was our server. From the service to the food this was a top notch experience. The jerk chicken and salad were delicious and Melissa did a great job! I highly recommend you give it a try. Awesome jerk chicken. One of our go-to meals off season. Plantains are well done. Edit: new 4% cc fee applied to all checks isn’t mentioned anywhere on menus or in the business, which is illegal, and which the manager did not offer to refund. I have been to branches 15 or 20 times over the past few years and am sad to see them start nickel diming customers.

I visited this restaurant a few years ago and had an excellent experience! The food was juicy and flavorful! However, tonight the Ruck chicken with rice and beans was quite dry. I added a lot of barbecue sauce, which improved the flavor, but it was still too dry for my liking.

Charming little restaurant! I was able to get a table without a reservation. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was excellent. My only recommendation would be for them to invest in a better sound system, as the one they currently have is quite poor.

Great menu and service. The chicken was dry. Plantains were wonderful. Salsa was great, Slav was good. Rice and beans were boring and dry.
