My daughter-in-law and I were walking past this restaurant when we were offered a taste of their delicious garlic bread and given a coupon. We were not hungry at the time, so we continued shopping but decided to come back for lunch later. We just had an amazing Birthday Dinner at this restaurant. Each dish is carefully crafted with unique seasonings and sauces. The Alfredo Sauce and Marinara were the best we've ever tasted! There were so many options and every dish was delicious. Even the Gluten free pasta and Zoodles were excellent. The service was exceptional. Every staff member treated us like royalty. Thank you to Joe for recommending that we try this place. You have a lot of talent. And a big thank you to Justin for the outstanding service. You definitely exceeded our expectations with your attentive and helpful service. We had a great time thanks to you all!
Absolutely amazing Italian food! We stopped here on a food tour and had the artichoke hearts with garlic cheese and olives With the amazing garlic bread with marinara! Definitely had to come back and had Mike our server who was amazing! Had one of the house favorites roasted Peppers as the appetizer which was phenomenal! Had the sausage peppers and onion with marinara which was one of his great recommendations! My wife had the chicken pomero which is also fantastic! Got to see Fran one of the owners as well which was fun. Can't wait to eat my leftovers in a few hours! Thanks Mike, Fran, and Caldo Pomodoro family!
We had dinner two days ago and it was absolutely fantastic! The garlic bread was unbelievably delicious, I could have easily made it my main course. I ordered the eggplant parmesan with ham, while my wife had the garlic chicken and she loved it. Unfortunately, I misplaced the receipt with the names of the dishes, but everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The restaurant is located off the main strip, which adds to its charm. This year marks their 30th anniversary in business, so they must be doing something right. The restroom was a bit old with some patches, but it was very clean.

Absolutely amazing food and ambiance. The family feel, the care and attention paid to the food, the personal care taken to make everyone feel welcomed, it all made us feel like we'd been coming to this restaurant for years despite it being our first time. The best garlic bread I've ever had, and overall one of the best Italian dinners my wife and I have ever had.
Service was amazing. Aubree was so so sweet and went above and beyond to make my boyfriend and I happy. They can cater their menu to vegans which was nice. The veggie pasta with red sauce was vegan and delicious. They hooked it up with vegan oil dressing with vegan rolls that was amazing. Very pleased will definitely be back <3
Love this place! Food is all homemade and tastes amazing. This has been a mainstay in Carlsbad for almost 30 years. The staff was great and helped keep our little girls entertained while we had a wonderful dinner.
